You know, I got that vibe too. Its funny because the song 'Discovering The Waterfront' actually features the violinist from Yellowcard. YC wanted them to release the song without hard vocals, because they thought screaming was tacky and pointless. Shane said fuck it and released the song anyway. lol
TC CT Also, Ryan Key the lead singer of Yellowcard is featured in a Silverstein song called ‘Stay Posi’. It was a song made for a Charity album back in 2011.
Anyone have heard the same guitar intro riff like me? It's absolutely beautiful. It's been a while since the last time they composed a riff like this. It reminds me to "You're all I have" riff, but this one is a bit faster.

Does anyone else think that this is actually an unreleased Simple Plan song, given to Silverstein to record? It would explain why it fits Pierre's voice so perfectly. Actually Simple Plan gave a song to Motley Crue about sixteen years ago, so it wouldn't be the first time they've ghostwritten for another band. Cmon now...its not like this album is vapid top 40 trash. This band is nothing like simple plan. Honestly, the simple plan feature here was quite pointless. Woulda rather just heard Shane do it
On first listen I'm not sure how much I like this album. It sounds like you guys are trying new things, which actually was the same for Dead Reflections. Maybe not my favourite, but I'll have to give it more listens. Your 15 year WBIEF tour was amazing though!
Best album they've done in years. Kinda fell off after this is how the wind shifts but with this album, im more into em than ever. But they definitely saved the best for last on this album.
They sound so different in this album, and I don't really like it very much. It's a good thing they still included songs with their old style like this song and September 14th. These two songs sound like they belong with This Is How The Wind Shifts (their best album, IMO)
@@magiaburst Mhmm. Unfortunately this is really not heavy, at least for my taste. Years ago I listened to them and even saw them once live. Since then my music taste got shifted from Punk/Hardcore to Metalcore, and judged by this the entire album is just soft :/ Which is okay, cause they went in this direction since years.
@@shiki494 I feel you, your opinion is valid and I respect it. I just don't get the same energy from this album as I do from the others. I'm not writing it off completely, hopefully some of it grows on me.
Won't happen - they've grown by about two decades and Neil is out of the band. You have those albums if you want that energy, and you have Redux if you want modern iterations. Even if they felt the same way that they did in 2003, artistry isn't taking steps backwards though.
