I still bet fairies are coming. The stone circle/spiral on the left side of the map looks exactly like the one in the fairy glen in isle of skye in Scotland. If you Google it it just looks the same and you can even see it on Google maps. And the name of it "the fairy glen" kinda gives it away. Fingers crossed.🤞 Furthermore it reminds me of the Netflix show "fate the winx saga" where each of them displays their power in a stone circle. I'm so hoping for fairies! 🧚‍♂️

Wow I didn't know that, this is so perfect! Thanks so much for sharing :) I love that idea of their powers represented by the different stones! I just know something magical is going on with this pack that has yet to be revealed!

@@fantasims actually the stones don't represent their powers but there is an episode where the fairies themselves display their powers within the stone circle (in the center). It makes them stronger. Sry for being so vague. 🙈 Yeah it has got to be something magical 😍👍

@@SasiSeelie O no it is probably my fault my brain is fried lol but that is still cool how the circle makes them stronger, I hope there's some sort of thing like that with this pack where you can only do a certain thing in that spot because it gives you the strength to do it!

I honestly think that Rabbit is gonna lead you to fairies / some sort of mystical place (like Alice in Wonderland inspired perhaps?). They keep on giving hints of fairies so I’m thinking if not in this pack it’ll def come in a later pack! :)

It is a bit odd that they didn't answer any questions about fairies, plus they gave so many hints in the past -sylvan glade -vampires pack fairy statues -fairy emoji from that singer who did a cover of a song for the sims -"only [Redacted] sims can go to [redacted] world" -use of the word "fairly" -fairy glen in the trailer -rabbit stumps and bird trees have the large dark holes in them that would be perfect for fairies -fairy lights on the bonus tree item

Also, in one screenshot on the official website post for this Expansion, there's a screenshot of a male sim cuddling a bunny in his cottage. On the wall behind him, right above his head, is a new wall decor item made of wood. It's a plumbob with fairy wings! Like how all occult have their own unique plumbobs! Yet another hint at them coming sometime in the future.

What if there’s a hidden world (fairies or not) that only children can access, maybe by following a rabbit somewhere? “You know [hidden world] only works if you’re playing with [child sims] in the new [expansion pack].” Since apparently there’s “something” more for child Sims...

I'm Still holding out for fairies too 😆 I figured since so many people are finding clues for fairy's they would have told us by now if they arnt in there. Just like they did when people were finding clues for cars, they just outright told us that cars were not in the pack, so I feel like they would have done the same for fairy's. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞 still, I'm obsessed with this pack. The more and more I see of it the more I can't wait to play and build with it 😍

The illuminated tree you get as a reward for buying the pack before July 2nd actually has a tiny door built into its base. If this doesn't scream magical creatures, I don't know what would..

I had the same thoughts with that distant ruins scene. There is something mystical going on. 🤔 Another theory, thought, I had is what if the singing Sim is a fairy hidden in human form? She seems different and separate from everything else going on in the village. Just a thought I had. That maybe they did the same hidden occult sim they did in the Sulani trailer, but without the end reveal. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do so hope that fairies are a part of what they're holding back on, it would be the cherry on top of this wonderful cake! And I'd love to get my hands on some or even one of those beautiful waterfalls in the background, lol, debug objects are always nice extras. Can't wait to hear what you find out next! HUGS

Fairies are such a massive thing that people have been asking for for so long, they were very popular in sims 3. I can’t imagine they would tag them on to this pack like that. They will more likely be coming out in their own pack and made a very big deal of.

In that picture of the world where you can see ruins, to the left there's a swirling pattern in the grass that definitely reminds me of a fairy ring 🧚

Such a DREAM pack!! The only two negative things from me so far: 1. I would’ve liked more 64x64 lots considering farms will need a lot of space. 2. That we have to wait until July 22nd 😭 Plus I’m personally going on vacation for three weeks right when it drops, and I could’ve never imagined I’d be sad about going on vacay to my favorite place?! My brain’s conflicted... 😶 Do you think you’ll be making gameplay videos with this pack? Would be so fun to see you do a quirky fun story with it.

AGREED this pack is just so cool I can't wait! I do agree that two 64 lots (or even more hee hee) would be perfect because that size lot isn't actually that big if you are building a normal sized house with a lot of landscaping but I'm thankful we at least got one because I've been so bummed the past few expansions without one! Also I'M SO SORRY - don't worry, FOMO only feels intense at the time, then when you look back you realize that it was not as bad as you thought hahahaha so i hope you have an incredible trip and you can enjoy it knowing the pack is waiting for you when you get back! But i am sorry that the timing doesn't work well for such an amazing pack! also.....hmmmm I do want to get into gameplay especially with this pack! I'll have to think up some ideas! I find let's plays boring so I'll have to come up with something quirky like you said to make it fun hahaha people are definitely gonna die XD

I think the ducks might work in the same way the koi do! With water lilies. I don’t use cc anymore, but there’s cc that has ducks that way. It was so cute!

I love how the kids can help with cooking and doing some gardening. Looking forward to more stuff for kids to do. I like the lot challenge idea too. That kitchen does look similar to the Country Kitchen Kit. I love having many different kitchen styles. I'm so looking forward to seeing what you do with this pack.

I KNOW! I think that feature of including kids is so needed and fits perfectly with this fairytale looking pack! Yeah the kitchen does look pretty similar so that might be a bad thing or a good thing if they include a brown swatch that you can actually make it match with other furniture, unlike the kitchen kit lol and THANKS LOVE you are too kind, I'm so pumped to get my grubby hands on this pack lol

One thing I actually dislike is that there are only smaller cottages where only one llama/cow has place? Like it makes sense if you don’t have that much space to then place 2 small cottages for 2 llamas/cows. But what if I want like 6 cows? I then have to place 6 small and individual cottages instead of one BIG cottage/stall where all 6 cows have space in it. And sadly we can’t have baby cows and baby llamas

It would make sense for them to include fairies in this pack there are a lot of references to Yorkshire and Yorkshire pudding ( I live in Yorkshire) we also have a hertiage of little girls who were said to have found fairies near a beck in the countryside. All disproved but there is a link between Yorkshire and fairy's... Interesting...

The spiral in the woods reminds me of a fairy spiral! Like a fairy ring type then :D. I think if we get fairies they will be something we can only interact with, not something we can be, but I think that could be just as amazing. With the gift system.... fairies give gifts, but it’s wise not to take them! If you do then you owe them 👀 but what if you give them gifts and then you get cool buffs or perks? I would kind of prefer if they were just a creature we could interact with. Playing as a fairy would be cool, but I think it would be more fitting with the pack for us to not be able to play them.

I'd be fine if it is just something magical added to the world in the hidden location just to add a bit of whimsy to the pack! That's also a great thought about fairy gifts with consequences and perks like that! it would be awesome! maybe they could bless the crops lol

@@achilles7121 So, "fun" story. But in our yard, we have a fairy tree. Its older than the house and the other trees. And guess what! A lot of my stuff goes missing! As in I put it down turn around and when I turn back it's gone. Not on the floor, behind my desk. Nowhere. And to get it back I have to leave trinkets in the round basin like middle! the little bastards Itd be funny if that was a thing in the new pack. Just have the little winged buggers drive your sim up the walls for their own amusement.

I honestly HIGHLY doubt that faeries will be included with this pack lol; however I definitely think it's possible that they'll do a game pack centered around them soon like they did for vampires and spell-casters (probably before of after the holidays).

I think that this is going to be a great pack. So looking forward to it, I really feel that they are holding fairies back from us, as it has a magical vibe to it. They never show everything in the first trailer, especially when it is an EP. I think this is going to be great for live off the land gameplay. Great video 😁💖💖

Thank you for yet another hell of an awesome break down vid hun! I haven't been this excited for a pack since Vampires. Loving all the detail you go into. Agree that that ring looks quite magical and mysterious. Maybe hoping for fairies is expecting too much, but I really do hope they bring in something more magical to complete what is by far the most fairytale like world the sims team have ever brought us. Hope you managed to get some well deserved rest after releasing not only one, but two, fantastic vids about this amazing expansion xxx

And honestly Idk how you can feel like 6+ different animals, a ton of new gameplay, a new world, a new skill line, a new trait, plus tons of new CAS and BB isn't enough for an expansion pack...lol. Like with or without faeries this is a huge pack.

You make a fair point! I do think it is a lot of stuff for sure, depending on how deep the gameplay is which so far seems to be really great! I wasn't thinking of the fairies being full on like vampires or spellcasters but they seem to fit the fairytale vibe that this pack seems to be going for

I think its because there are game packs with similar amount of content, like new worlds, traits etc and the animals aren't included in cas, even if it isn't fairies I hope they have something else as big that they are holding back to make the price tag feel a bit more worthy

I mean I'm OBSESSED with this pack already so I"m gonna love it no matter what but there's something they are holding back from us until the gameplay trailer that will help tie this pack together - I mean the magical Disney moment at the beginning, using phrases that mimic Beauty and the Beast, doesn't make sense if it is just about raising animals and selling goods at the market (which those things are awesome) but part of the story is missing - I think that's what my point was. It's not that I'm dissatisfied - obviously I"m SO EXCITED - but part of the story is missing, and once they fill in that missing piece it will feel more like a complete expansion pack. At least in my opinion!

grocery stalls are already in my game btw. i go to san mashuno and the food truck stall is closed but the grocery is open. you wait a while for someone to come over and man the stall. weird! you can also buy fish from a stall in brindleton bay! :o

in sims3 you got "opportunities" very often. like when you were growing produce you had opportunity to deliver to a restaurant for pay. i hope that stuff comes back because just selling plants you grow from your inventory is lame i love to grow my own all.

Yeah I'm so curious what that area is all about because you have the swirly maze part and then the castle ruins! I know they will reveal more in the gameplay trailer! it might be a new kind of lot you can access kind of like how the ruins in Get Together is a party lot you can go to!

I do wonder with the new pool tool for terrain editing if they also fixed terrain editing so you can use terrain up close to builds and the terrain dirt when you make terrain higher is either gone or can be painted on if not they should think of fixing it.

hmmm excellent question - from the looks of it, I don't think you will be able to paint the hill part when it is elevated or lowered with a steep slope - I really wish we could too because it really ruins the look of a build - like can't grass grow on the side of the hill too? lol But I'd be stoked if they did fix it and like you said, if we could put a hill up against the walls! I"m just hoping it doesn't come with bugs because currently, when I build with terrain and foundations together i get all kinds of glitches!

I hope we can use pumpkins to carve pumpkins for free (Spooky stuff pumpkin carving station). I'm still holding out hope for the rabbit going "down the rabbit hole" being an Alice in Wonderland reference. I thought that from first seeing the trailer, and from reading various comments on many Simmers' channels, it seems many other had that thought too. So hopefully certain characters can follow the rabbit into an Alice in Wonderland like world. (I did recently listen to the White Rabbit song, so that may have brought that imagery into my mind) It would be really cool to have a Mad Hatter, the Red Queen, and a "hookah smoking caterpillar." But if not, oh well, this Expansion mixed with other packs can really help create fairy tale stories. Quite some time ago, I built a cottage, a witch's castle and a bridge on the same lot, to play up some fairy tales: Hansel and Gretel as well as the 3 Billy Goats Gruff (for the goats I just used dogs).

You can't swim in the ponds. The Gurus confirmed you can only dip your feet in and splash in it. I think when we saw the sims swimming in the trailer that was actually a river or lake and not a pond. Though there's no way to know if they're going to eventually add being able to swim in ponds because I think with the depth tool that would probably cause routing issues and Sims in Sims 4 are kind of dumb enough already xD

The trailer shows people swimming in the lake/pond are we going to have swimming lakes here? I am just thrilled about this whole pack it is my style of gameplay... Especially gathering and selling produce, I always freelance when I play because I have schedules (even in rl) lol

yes, they said that you can swim in the bagley river but not in the pond that you’ve placed on your lot!

@@oOStarratsOo They probably would have shown horses already, but as it was pointed out to me, aliens wasn't announced in the original Get to Work trailer, it was only revealed in the game trailer or stream or something so there is a chance that there is something else yet to be revealed! It might not be something huge but maybe something that ties together the hint at something magical like the Disney princess type references? Who knows, I look forward to it no matter what lol

@@fantasims the portal to sixam was in the trailer I did not see any magical looking portal or anything in this trailer. Plus the aliens are boring compared to the vampires and spellcasters, so I hope fairies will get their own game pack. I don't really care about horses but I'm super hyped about the llama, I really wanted that XD I do see a lot of Gnomes in this trailer on signs and stuff so I think there might be something more with that.

So strange that they mention we should tip the delivery guy in an English based world 🤣 There's basically an anti-tip culture here now, it just doesn't happen and you look really weird if you try. It still happens a little with some older people and the upper classes I guess, but most people HATE it here, it's borderline offensive to tip and even more so to expect a tip!

S3 World Adventures had quests. I think the chef pig is NEW RECIPES. FARMING works for redacted. You know we can have fairies now, right? If you have RoM, you get magic and witch magic and fairy magic isn't any different. Plus, one of the wands you can buy is a fairy wand with a tiny star at the top. And if you have Sooky Stuff, you get a fairy costume. Why would they make fairies when we can create our own plus the sprites in Uni? Don't get me wrong, I'd love a fairy sim, I just don't see one coming in this pack. Thanks, great video.

Lmao no, spellcasters and fairies are NOT the same and the Sims team even acknowledged this. When they listed out the feature of a Spellcaster pack (before it was released) they also listed out all of the features that would be in a Fairy pack and they are separate. We are most definitely getting a Fairy game pack soon, there was multiple hints for it recently and in one screenshot on the official website post for this Expansion, there's a screenshot of a male sim cuddling a bunny in his cottage. On the wall behind him, right above his head, is a new wall decor item made of wood. It's a plumbob with fairy wings. Yet another hint at them coming sometime in the future. Also, Farming doesn't work for redacted. It's definitely for fairies or for some sort of mystical/occult like Gnomes. In the description for a fairies pack, the SIms Devs wrote "Hidden Fairy World- Fairies can flutter about through a magical new world, which can only be seen if you're a fairy, or have been granted special permission from fairy kind". The redacted tweet would fit this perfectly, or it's for a new hidden world in Cottage Living accessed by kids down some sort of rabbit whole.

@@dannydanbo58 Yes, it's wall decor...of a plumbob. Something can be wall decor of a bunny, it's not a bunny. It's a literal plumbob shape with fairy wings. Also, he's not a Sims artist is he? So how does he know what the artist intended it to be? And I KNOW that Cottage Living won't have any occults, duh, I'm saying all of these things are hints for a Fairy Gamepack in the near future, especially since they already outlined what a Fairy gamepack would include when doing interest polls.

@@dannydanbo58 Lmao you are so pressed over this it's kind of funny, Romeo said it's not a plumbob (because it's not...it's a wall decor), but it's still SHAPED like a plumbob which clearly isn't a random choice made by the artists. Fairies have been hinted at multiple times PERIOD and I expect them to be an upcoming game pack, stay mad about it I guess You probably wanted Rose to win S13 from the vibe you are giving off, it's not immaculate! Now stop crowding up Fanta's mentions with this bs!

I've been a bit cruel to chicken recently. I had a laser in my pocket and friends of mine have a bunch or rescue chickens. And just like cats chickens follow laserpoints. SO I had a bit of fun making them run around. But yeah bit cruel. I don't do this with cats anymore either cause they don't get the satisfaction of catching anything ever so it actually bit frustrating for them.

They will not be adding these animals to base game else there would be nothing left to make this pack worth the $40 lol but I can understand not wanting to spend $40 - personally I think expansion packs should be $20 and game packs should be $10 lol

Ok the cow and lama situation you misunderstood for sure they will have a range but there is no fence so you can fence an area and putt 2 or more of the objects in so it looks like a tiny herd wich i think is a bad decition i mean i would prefer to buy a limit update then to put an other stall there

I'm not 100% sure but based on past expansion packs, they usually come out 1-2 weeks after the Teaser Trailer so I'm thinking any time on or after the 17th? but don't quote me on that lol. The Snowy Escape gameplay trailer came out a week later and the Discover University one came out 2 weeks later so I'm not sure! hopefully only a week!

with all the answers they have given ... as the excitement of the new pack has already taken away rabbits are not pets cows, llamas and chickens are objects to interact with (basically animated statues) kids don't really cook, they just "help" the lakes are just decorative, you can't swim in them yep ... the game hasn't come out and I've already lost interest ... well done Sims, that's a new record for disappointing me leaving only a line behind Star Wars

1) yeah rabbits are wild animals 2) would you rather them to take up family space? 3) yes that's one more activity for kids to do 4) lakes aren't decorative, you can swim in LAKES, you can't swim in PONDS
