So were you able to directly hook up the pedals to the Drivehub, or do you also need the GIMX for the pedals? Going through the compatibility selector for Drivehub it looks like i would need to just hook the controller direct into the Accessory port (selecting a few different pedals show that). I have a T300 wheel with the SimJack Minis, looking at your simjack controller box, mine should be a similar generation.

Unless they added SimJack support recently & I don’t know, you will need the GIMX adapter as well.

@@gster109 thanks. I kinda figured that. Looks interesting I'll definitely be considering it. Good information!

these are really great budget pedals. sucks us early adopters missed out on upgrades that they have added to these great pedals. mods i have done so far are switched out the elastomers for die springs, the bearings, and got the HE controller box to use their software. funny about a month ago, they came out with a new controller box where you can use their software to calibrate instead of using diview. all that said, still great pedals with no complaints and ive had mine for 1.5 years now.

Yeah thankfully all those upgrades can be done on our early adopter set! My control box loses calibration requiring the usb wire to be wiggled around sometimes, did you experience that before switching the box? Please leave a like for the algo!❤

@@gster109 when i got my set it didnt come with the wire and my control box was all metal not see through. thats odd that it loses calibration when the usb loses connection. ive disconnected my pedals many times and didnt lose calibration. how are you calibrating? im surprised you didnt get the HE upgrade kit which comes with new elastomers and the control box

@@doostah I just got the elastometer kit without the control box. it seems to be a EMI issue with the cable supplied.

Ya give the money to the real company. don't support companies riping off people that actually care
@gster109
@gster109 2 месяца назад
I agree with the sentiment but when people are on a low budget it makes it hard to pass up a deal such as these pedals. Definitely a tough choice. At least i’ve bought some heusinkveld elastometers so they’ve got some money from me lol. 👍

Disagree! ‚real companies‘ are the ones ripping off the customer. I get it, software, quality control etc. is not cheap but you can easily pay up to 1000 bucks for a little metal

@@louki8378 lol wrong they pay there employees and are based on first world countries where they're not totally exploiting the workers. They're also paying for r& d

If someone can buy pedals for 1200 euro with long warranty, awesome support, upgradability, durability, original quality stuff - they won't go to some shady china store to buy some cheap knockoffs with bunch of their own flaws. Early simjacks, for example, had problems with bending metal plates near power cell on brake pedal. But now tell me what's better, people who buy cheap uncomfortable stuff, playing few days and then flood used market with g29 wheels. Or people who buy cheap comfortable stuff which gives them a lot of fun for the buck, firmly attaching them to simracing for years, in other words, making them buy lots of things for years, because sim racing is huge money drain)) So it's simple. When you can get good gear for cheap -> you get much more fun experience -> simracing community gains more people -> simracing market gains more value -> "real companies" sell more stuff and gain more profit -> prices drops because companies doesn't have to add huge premium for r&d. Everyone wins. When fun experience is locked behind huge paywall -> less people stick to sim racing -> less people buy stuff -> "real companies" sell less stuff and much less profitable -> which drives prices even higher because of r&d premium -> which makes paywall even bigger. You literally can see this. Check "sim racing" in google trends for last 10 years. The cheaper good stuff gets, the more people are interested in sim racing. So as long as racing community gains more long-term users - it's all good. Even if "China pedals" won't be ever upgraded, there will still be some bought games\subscriptions to services and so on, which supports creating of better software that attract even more people and loop continues) Miles better than nothing.
