I've known about this mod for years but didn't try it until yesterday and it's one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. The way it's been integrated with the main game is just brilliant, all of your work and efforts are to be praised. Thank you.

I did notice an issue when capturing an outpost that was using a city plan that placed turrets. The settlement will remain hostile until those turrets are scrapped. This was causing issues for me when Stodge and his gang remained hostile causing Theresa to attempt to end me whenever I visited HQ.

I'm on Series X and not registered for the Wiki. Have any other Series X users mentioned issues with the HQ? Specifically with recruiting the 15 settlers to come work at the HQ? Once all the members are there and building/upgrading rooms in the HQ the game lags severely and crashes when ENTERING the HQ. Turning automation to manual doesn’t work. Slowly recruiting settlers doesn’t work and spreading out the projects doesn’t work. I need all 15 to complete the quest but once so many rooms are built(seems to be mandatory) the lagging and crashes start. I've had to resort to skipping quests parts that require me to enter the HQ.

Its best to just play ss2 on pc thats what i did after 4 file corruptions on series x

@abdul-basiyribnmarcus8640 Unfortunately we don't have room for another PC. My girl games on hers and I on my XSX or my PS5 I'd feel terrible taking up her PC time because I'm gaming on it.

@Chef42 I honestly haven't, I thought I had to register to the WiKi to be able to post on their forums. I haven't figured out the precise way to say what my issue is, I get really nervous about speaking/typing unless I'm 100% sure of what I'm going to say, it's debilitating sometimes lol. I guess you understood what my issue is so I guess I copy and paste lol.

So I'm not too far into SS2, using storywealth. I've had 2 dialogue hiccups with the stranger so far, once in sanctuary when getting the ASAM, and again after clearing the museum. The former I have to run out of range to reset the conversation and continue, however the latter I have to force skip the quest progress as no matter what I do, he won't continue the conversation, just want to trade. Anything I can do to fix these spots?

For anyone who comes across this, I believe it is a problem with the extended dialogue interface (XDI) mod. Using full dialogue interface, or the base vanilla game, tends to solve the dialogue problems I am having so far.

I recently updated my mod to the new patch and the ai pathing was a bit better not perfect as some of the NPCs got stuck on cars but its bettee

I've been stuck with the issue of a Concord quest called "Cover of night" where randy isn't spawned in the game. The only way I found a fix or at least a way to continue on with SS2s concord questline is to skip the quest via console. I've reported this issue a while ago but had gotten no response, is it safe to just skip this quest or should I bite the bullet and wait till its fixed?

Just going to post this here: *If you are seeing floating heads on the SS2 NPC’s, it’s caused by SS2 Extended!* uncheck the plug-in and it’ll be fixed! 😉

Missions keep getting stuck and I can’t go to settlements with out it crashing. I am a bit stressed out and just decided to stop playing. If any one can help that would be great.

So hi I was wondering is someone could help me in suggesting how can I Download SS... by this I mean... do I need SS1 to play SS2 or is SS2 the better version... ? I'm confused...

ss1 is the old version, ss2 is it's own thing. Just get ss2, or ss1. not both. if you're getting ss2, there's three chapters, plus you need workshop framework. If you're getting it on pc, get ss2 extended as well. so, download workshop framework, hud framework, sim settlements 2, sim settlements 2 chapter 2, sim settlements 2 chapter 3, and sim settlements 2 extended. For the baseline mods needed. chapter 3 requires automatron, if you don't own that dlc.

I am currently on a playthrough where I am a couple missions into Chapter 3, just before Vault 95. I am playing on a new install, that I then rolled back to the pre-next gen update version, using the preupdate version of the fallout script extender. My Sime Settlements main mod and chapter files are all version 3.3.2. It seems to be running ok, aside from the bodies still being there at Egret Tour (though it has not been that long so I'm not sure if it's actually an issue). Should I upgrade to 3.3.3 or just stick with 3.3.2? Do I understand correctly that SS2 is now running ok post next-gen update? What about the script extender. Are they all playing nice now with SS2?

i was able to fix it by going to to the steams fallout 4 mods folder deleting all the rows of numbers and i got the mod page to work all of my mods i had before the update are still there and useable

It made performance worse. Until Bethesda releases another update that actually fixes what they broke, I would stay on old gen for now.

Hey dude, what the hell is going on? I am 10 days in on a clean playthrough of sim settlements and now I have quest list full of quests that wont go anywhere or do anything. For example I met up with cpd at the specified spot and nothing happens. Everyone stands around doing nothing, no one will talk its just bloody bullshit seriously. Why bother doing such a large mod if it is going to be so bloody broken.
