I am humbled and honored to produce and put this piece together in tribute to the Founding Father The Late Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare. 'Siman guan' which means The chief of chiefs in Murik Lakes (Grand Chief's village) native tongue and also the title of this tribute song, speaks about Sir Michael's life and the people's (East Sepik especially) heartfelt grievances and sorrow during this mourning period. The song was composed and sang in Murik Lakes' tok ples, tok pisin, Kanda tok ples of middle Sepik river, and duwo language of the East Sepik province in an attempt to emphasize ESP origin. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this tribute song and video. Your names are being acknowledged accordingly in the end credits
