I‘m so glad that I watched your video. I had big difficulties with the police departements, health and fire departements. But your strategy with those three big buildings in the middle of the city is just brilliant. Well done👍
Hi Smith, I enjoy your content very much. I have had an entire city on a single loop and I still have had traffic jams and unhappy Sims. I find putting 3 No. Short raod sections in an area away from the Sims houses, then surrounding them with the cheapest fountains 12 No. In total, and as long as you do not remove any items connected because then the road resets. I then sureound them with water towers and wind turbines etc. Doing this at an early earliest possible level is the optimum approach. This saves hundreds os thousands of simoleans and gives you the option to upgrade your roads whenever and to what level you find most aesthetically pleasing. It works like a dream. ❤

Suggestion - don't move buildings around. Just delete red roads and rebuild it. You'll have to do it every time. But you'll save big money. Just demolish and rebuild basic roads.

I’m currently playing this game and in my capital city I’m trying my hardest to build a city that in my eyes is a beautiful one. To be completely honest with you I would much rather have a city that is not completely full of skyscrapers. I would much rather. Want to be able to keep some of my buildings maybe it’s just condos or apartment buildings and zone them in a certain area or something to make my city feel more realistic. however the only problem with this is that as long as the buildings are not fully upgraded the stupid hardhat sign will be floating above it all the time bugging the crap out of me. I was wondering if it were possible for you to somehow ask EA to provide an option for us to disable the hardhat signs at Will please. If this is possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Rhys Malcolm I really wish that option would happened in SimCity, like in City Mania, when a house reaches level 5 or 10, it doesn’t upgrade because of fusion, and you can just keep it like that!
Im at Level 15 and struggling, cant manage trash and healthcare at the Same time with so few coins. Im about to delete the Game because its too much grinding for few coins. Also its not possible to renew your whole city Design because theres no space
Buildit with Smith I deleted the Game; because it consumes too much time with no rewarding gameplay. I wont produce stuff for 16h just to get a hospital
All those cross streets just take up space that you could use for parks and more buildings you only need roads going either vertically or diagonally no cross streets

How can I make epic buildings in new regions? I have a full developed capital city building next to a casino in canyon map, and it just doesn't give me the opportunity to start the project, why?
Jacob, you uh have to build them. Click on your landscape icon and use ponds and lakes to put your river anywhere. Note, if you want to build bridges and river restaurants you need to use the Lake feature. There are lakes naturally at the beginning of the game but they hold no real estate value which kinda sucks.
You DO know that the level is reflective of all three regions that I have unlocked. My capital city has most of the population. Do your research buddy!

Is it me or they changed the parks and the building services placement requirements? I remember I could fit a little park, a little fire station and a little police station in a little square but now the requirement says they need to be connected to a road..
I try to play but i always end up starting over cause I hate my roads, a designer I am not lol. Are these roads layouts good for the first land area you have when starting the game?
