G’day mate. Quick question if you can help. I am moving from console to PC in next couple of months. Currently Xbox Series X with TSXW and 55” TV screen. What good and bad points do you think if I change to PC with 34” Ultra wide 144HZ with single monitor stand to bring closer to rig/wheel like yours. I am hoping you will say accuracy because of refresh rate and don’t worry about a smaller screen because being closer will eleviate that. Any advice much appreciated. Carps
Yep pretty much answered it for me 🤣 screen hz/fps I never thought would make a big difference coming from console myself but it does. Also does help getting monitor stand that's free standing not solid to the rig so you can get it exactly how ya want it, and also help with cleaning the rig on the odd occasion. Hope that helps dude 🤙🏁
Question: Did you map wheel buttons to the Lovely dashboard, and if so, how did you do it? I've been looking for info on how to do this, as I use the Lovely right on my monitor, but need to know how to switch to tires and such. Thanks.
The dash im using is touch so I can just touch the screen to scroll pages. There's an option in simhub to assign buttons for that ill double check when I get home and let you know 🤙
Ok just had another look in simhub for ya. Go to Vocore where you pick your dashboard layout. Select advanced touch mode > Then down the bottom hit edit device controls > Cycle next and previous dash up the top just assign some buttons and that should help ya 🤙
@@boothys_sim_racin I think there's a little bit of a misunderstanding, as I don't use a Vocor or additional display, I use the main monitor that I run iRacing on, and just resize the dashboard on the main monitor. As the creator of the dashboard pointed out as he was doing the same thing I'm doing, there's a way to map buttons on wheel to change the tire and track map screens 'if you know how to do it', but he doesn't explain how.
@@boothys_sim_racin Ive been going through that, even tried a new mapping of that particular Next Screen action, but it didn't work. Opened the Editor for the dashboard ands drilled down to find that the MFM screen is tied to Action A, but not entirely sure what all that means.
I also have the dash and it is very nice. I am having issues with LEDs. Simhub can no long find the LEDs. Sim ore said it is because I am using Windows 11. The dash works fine when I connect to a Win10 machine. What version of Windows are you using?
That sucks dude, maybe check the simhub forums there could be a patch for Windows 11 or even someone in there might have a fix. I'm using Windows 10 still because until I have to im not gonna upgrade to 11 yet
I installed this crap and on mine it doesn't leave the LR logo screen and the bottom buttons < > A B C D don't do anything, I can't get this panel to work, even when I open the game it doesn't leave the LR logo screen, if there was a way removing this first screen so that it directly loads the screen with the information would be better or if there is some configuration that can make it open the game information on the dashboard.
You have to enable the sim within simhub, some games pickup straight away other have to be enabled. And did you select lovely dash in the drop downs for current dash...I'm happy to help but lovely sim dash got a discord might help you quicker
