@@h1a8exactly! Its such a good value for $300 with all the accessories included and 5 way crossover, but the TUNING in the treble isnt my preference😢😢😢 Not sure if its worth buying it and just running eq or not compared to just getting hype4
@@h1a8 For my sensitive ears, that is a huge relief... I cannot fathom unnatural treble extension - instant wincing pain. Give me smooth over sparkly sibilance, any day.
@@h1a8 Me too and I solved those problems with a Symphonium Crimson and a HiSenior Mega5EST. I'd give the tech chops to the Crimson with a TON of tip rolling and I pretty much ended up back at square one in the end lol. Also the Mega5EST to me has the all encompassing sound that he is saying the em10 has, and I am sure it does, if it is anything like the Simgot EA1000 it definitely should have the extension for the weebs, but I can't say much for it's soundstage as it is a single DD iem as opposed to I think its 10 per side on the EM10. Still doesn't make me not want to try all the new hype, but for the most part a lot of this is just false hype by reviewers to keep getting these free items. If you play ball you get free send ins for reviews. I would like to say I'd do the same as Jay here is doing for Simgot, and for now I would because they are above board and the products are well made fwiw. I just would never give a good or misleading review to a product either just to get their latest and "greatest". Ok audiophiles....rant over. Even the weebs 1 love!!! ;x
Looking forward to the Davinci & EM10 comparison - no, they're not the same price category, but still, it would be interesting to see how much more you get for the price increase.
Like I said. These comparisons are the BEST in the audiophile community. It answered every question especially since I wanted to compare them to the Hype 4 and the Chopin 🙌🙌
Just received the Supermix 4. I have Kara, EA1000, P5, S15, Falcon Ultra. In terms of technicalities and evenness/smoothness, the Supermix 4 trumps everything I have. Others may have specialities in something, but on a whole, the Supermix 4 is very all-rounded.
@@bestcocbaseswithlink5069 S15 still has a thicker sound, but the SM4 is much more open on top and sounds more refined and polished. Two different signatures, don’t think one could replace the other m.
@@haziee3108 it has much wider soundstage than the EA1000, the EA1000 sound cramped relatively, but it’s not a good or bad thing, more intimate could be more engaging. The soundstage is wide at the left-right, depth I not as good as the EA1000.
Dude, your reviews are go to. Yes, my EM6L are absolutely fantastic IEMs, but the graph comparison is accurate to my ears, they are a bit hot in the treble. I would pick up some Supermix4s. Thanks. No more cartoon sunglasses. 😁🙌
Putting those sets side by side really helps uncovering their targeted audiences. Supermix4 achieving similar results as the pula02 but with very different driver config is impressive considering its price. Like the Aful Magic One this iem is a technical flex from the the audio engineers. I think the smoothness achieved there can serve music mastering.
I was doing 40 minute test playlist listening this morning with Artti t10, ea500lm and cca hydro and I have to say the hydro is absolutely replacing both of them. I don't feel like I'm lacking anything in the hydro that I would get from either of the other 2. Hopefully my supermix 4 ships soon
I would like a bit less shimmer and 1-2 dB less mid-bass bass in the all down switch position..If they do this it will kill all the giants without mercy.Kz has become very serious with this iem
From what akros was saying, supermix 4 is slightly more refined than hydro. Still pretty great. Wish I had gotten mine from alliexpress for $100 instead of on Amazon for $150. What impresses me the most about the hydro plays any genre I throw at it (not a good judge of classical)
i swear the iem world always got me on my toes, was gonna get the lms, waited a bit, sm4 came out, glad i waited, and then probably in another few months something better is gonna come out and it keeps going.. forever.. and ever.. there is no end..
The new releases aren't as 'better' as people make them out to be. The hype train is overblown, just get whatever sounds interesting to you and you shouldn't be disappointed.
The hypetrains are greatly overexagerated indeed. I still have IEM from 7 years ago (Empire Ears Zeus) that still competes with new IEMS on similar price. This hobby is similar to wristwatch. Just because technology is getting cheaper and more accessible, doesn't mean newer releases are always better and old ones become obsolete.
@@kawaiikoto8800 idk if google is right but those are way outta my budget 😔. rn im at the stage where im reading graphs and listening to demos to see what i like, and im not 100% certain what will suit me but since i listen to a lot of different genres these definitely caught my eye. i understand hype train is a thing but also like hey, good tech and tune is getting cheaper as well :3 so that's a bonus
Yeahb I went with a steamdeck oled instead lol. I have too many iems atm, and the hype 4 is very satisfying as is the doscinco for a "beater" version. I really want the davinci, but im going to wait for more reviews.....I don't need 3 of the same thing lol.
I'm waiting for the DaVinci reviews to make a decision between that one, the Simgot EM10 & the Hype 4. It's a great time to be in the hobby at the moment with really good sets at the different price ranges.
It's between the EM10 and DaVinci for me too. I hope the EM10 goes out to more people soon so we can see that comparison. I want a nice all-rounder and I don't want to buy anything else after either of those. I hope either of those 2 will do that for me.
did you have any issues with ear tips falling off the nozzle of the em10? i noticed it doesn’t have a nozzle like the hype 4s which help the ear tips grip the nozzle.
Excellent review. I’ve got the LM which I love (I don’t find them bright!). I was thinking about the EM10 but will hold off for now. It will be interesting to hear your views on the Da Vinci.
Thank you for always making wonderful videos. I bought the Hype4 as my endgame, but the vocals felt more distant compared to the BQEYZ Winter I had been using, and it didn't suit me because I love vocals. My ideal would be a Winter with enhanced bass. Do you think the SM4 fits that description? When you highly praise something, it makes me want to buy it.
Im so confused about the EM10 vs hype4 comparison, so the hype4 undoubtably has a bigger sound stage, and both have good bass, but what about the treble extension, and detail retrieval, clarity, etc. Which wins there?
@@kawaiikoto8800 ??? did you not watch the video or have heard any of these in person? the Hype4 already is better than the Dusk, and the pilgrim is also better than the dusk. The hype4 has a better soundstage and is overall better as well than the pilgrim... not to mention Dusk has a billion problems... people shouldn't have to use a DSP cable just to get below mid tier audio
Hello, I am comparing your opinions with others and have made purchasing decisions based on your rankings, I honestly enjoy each purchase. I trust that your project and your prototype will be at the level we expect from you.
Treble and detail EM10 is better, as mentioned in the vid, more slightly resolving than the Hype 4. If you want a bassy set, get the Hype 4, if you want a more balanced set but still great bass-->EM10.
Jay I use the CHORD MOJO 2 to drive my headphones the AUNE AR 5000 and I love to EQ its fun. I dont understand why its frowned upon LOL Iam 53 so in my youth on my dads stereo a NAD he had a graphic equalize and it was fun to goof off with so i find myself EQ differently to different songs its not a burden its fun to me and in a way its a way to analyze how I hear things but long story short does the SUPERMIX4 take well to EQ I am considering the CHOPIN but now you bring up the SUPERMIX4
Love the review of both simgots in one vid! I'm still undecided whether to go for the sm4 or save up for em10, you mentioned that the em10 has more impactful bass than sm4, but as I observed from the graphs from hbb and akros, the em10 seems to be brighter at 3k and when sm4 is adjusted to have the same peak at 3k, the sm4 would have more midbass / warmer. I prefer a more engaging bass/midbass more than my current Nova, and the em10 seems to be just too steep of a price for current me to save up...
The Supermix 4 graphs with much tamer than the other Simgot sets. If I want a safe treble tuning the Cinno or Kailua both seem like good alternate picks, depending on how much pinna or mid-bass I want.
I dont feel the need to get geeked out with graphs my ears hear what they hear and I spent years EQ in my youth but i couldnt tolerate the EA500 i think it was called reminded me of screaming children with HIGH PITCH screams throwing a tantrum

Thanks for the review, I own the simgot ew200 that I prefer over the em6l that I had, should I choose the supermix or the ea1000 for the same price? I mainly use headphones but I like iem too and I am looking for an upgrade of the ew200, I listen all genres of music
Tanchjim Ola bass Or Sigmot ew200 Or Trn conch Or Moondrop CHU II Or TRUTHEAR x Crinacle zero RED OR BLUE Or Kz pr3 Or Kz zs10 pro x Or 7HZ x Crinacle zero 2 Or Blon x HBB Z300 Or Kinera Celeste pandamon 2 Or Nd x12 I want a gaming experience for a normal person to use, and they will be useful in FPS games, such as ambient sounds, watching videos, and podcasts. The bass is not as important to me as the sound, its purity and clarity are more important Is there a better option than them in the $40 category?
@@CesareBorgia630 so he had said in the short preview, in the comments, em10 better vocals and more balanced slightly edging Hype 4, but there very similar, and also Hype 4 has better Soundstage. Hard to decide but to me soundstage is priority, and a bit bassier isn't too bad I hope

Coming from someone's who never used iems before but have tried various headphones. In terms of quality, which headphones does the simgot em10's can be compared to in a relatively similar scale?
I am in doubt between the kiwi ears quintet and the simgot SM4 which one is better? My preferred sets so far have been the letshuoer s12 pro and the CKLVX D41.
Once again great review. I don't know if you have the Dita Project M on your radar yet, you really need to check out this set, it is a detail beast at $325, it could easily sell for twice it's price.
@jayyaudio Simgot Em10 vs Studio 4 how do the compare? I am looking for $400-$500 upgrade from my Truthear Hexa with 10ohm bass booster combo? I like treble, a lot air, detail and extension. I added the 10ohm booster to tame the sharpness in the hexa and to slow speed of Hexa to being more natural and giving slower fuller bass.
SymphonyEars, hi i need help with recommendations for my next end game ieam for overall use, i play a lot of games(mostly fps), watch series and movies and i hear a lot of music (different genres but mostly pop and metal) any recommendations? SIMGOT SUPERMIX4, then SIMGOT EA1000 modded with 500mesh filter, gold nozzle and deep wide tips and now i hear the nova is amazing too, what should i choose?
METEOR is a mid-bass centric IEM with a lot of air, whereas the EM10 is more well-rounded. If you want bass-->Meteor, if you want a set that can do everything-->EM10
depends on the unit, my Hype 4 has a lot more mid-bass and lower-mids which makes them bassier, although the EM10 does have more sub-bass, but overall my Hype 4s sound fuller because of the extra mid-bass + lowermids
what upgrade should i take if i used simgot em6l mainly to listen to music and a little bit of gaming? . And is the difference between em6l and sm4 is little. 😊
@@nn0617 Robots? Dita is a boutique brand used to make mostly high-end gear. Of course theres going to be a lot of interest when they make entry level model.
Sm4 sounds like a big pass. Em10 might be pretty good tho. Just got the pilgrim as well. It’s so good, just needs a little more sub and mid bass. Vocals are crazy good
@@tom_from_myspace He was being sarcastic as he’s comment was actually said by Crinacle a bit before Crinacle released one of his collab IEMs that competes with some of the Simgots.
because these two really are Harman-tuned and people either 1) are bored with Harman, despite thinking it a good target to tune to or 2) never liked Harman in the first place.
Both of these new Simgots look as though they were tuned directly to Harmon... I despise that target 🧐 Weak mid-bass and noticeably over-extended in too many places. My ears say 'thanks... but no thank you'
