(I'll make a video on the subject later on but..) THE ONE THING THAT MAKES ME WORRIED AND A LITTLE SAD IS THE KLOWNS GETTING BEAT UP. Illfonic, Teravision... Please be very aware that people did not enjoy Jason getting beat up and stun locked constantly. This is going to be THE first thing on most people's minds.. is that the Klowns are gonna be punching bags for survivors. I'm not forming a solid opinion around it because we don't know the full gameplay loop, but it is a very legitimate conversation to have.

From what it looks like, Rudy isnt good at hand to hand combat, but is much better with tech and setting traps (as his class states) and that human got the upper hand because it looks like he did a charged up swing with the bat, causing more damage and it also looked like rudy got stunned locked before he was beat down. He also has lower health, im sure there are perks and upgrades in this game to make the gameplay more interesting... so dont worry! Anyone who is doubting having fun as a klown, there is still hope!

VERY TRUE! Rudy is the trap setter, so he may not be great when it comes to a face off with a survivor that is loaded to the brim with weapons. I mean this is a jock, and he had a bat, AND a knife! So Rudy being the trapper Klown, he's meant to be more a 'helper' than the frontlines type of Klown, so that very well may be the case here. It's hard to paint the full picture when we haven't seen the full game. But I do understand why folks (including myself may be worried just watching this out of context). I have high-hopes!! Good observation!

I can't wait for this game, am pretty excited! Looks like on the survivors' side you have alot of information to help you work as a team easier. Looks like you'll be able to see other players status on if they are alive or dead at any given time. I noticed in the gameplay footage you can see other player nametags floating about in the background too, but not sure if it's because of the "human cam" spectator mode. Also not sure how communication will work in this game, you can see a text chat box on the left side of screen. The one thing i enjoyed in F13 is not everyone being able to communicate right off the bat, but rather proximity chat or having to find a walkie talky. As for the klowns, you can see them level up as a group, in the top left you can see a klown saying something has been activated. Would be cool to see how that mechanic works, and if as the match goes on the killers becoming more and more powerful.

@@unr34L- Come on man, blocking as Jason was a joke.. It was awkward, and implemented in a way that basically defeated any purpose of ever using it. A survivor would typically only ever stun attack Jason from around a blind corner ANYWAY, so there's no purpose to the block. And if you run up to Jason's face, it's the easy matter of coaxing a grab or a swing out of him, and then you can tap him right in the face with the bat. Blocking in that game was obsolete.

@@ColbyChaos30 Yep, both Friday the 13th, and TCM have the problem, just in different ways, and is the biggest reason I stopped playing both of those games. I hope Killer Klowns takes stunning the Klowns very seriously, and that they maintain at least some form of control and balance to it, to where it makes sense to the game in the ways that survivors and Klowns are supposed to fight each other. People WANT a good fight from the two teams.. but when you find exploits to gain an unfair advantage, then that's when the fun factor of the game begins to diminish.

I know when you pre order the deluxe edition you get the digital soundtrack that's composed by the awesome John Massari so hopefully maybe there is more music in game!

The hitting animation looks so janky, hope they can fix that.

Yeah one thing about the hitting animations and the attacking each other, it does look a bit .. arcadey, or at least it has that look to it. Like the teen bringing the bat down as a weapon, he does it so instantaneously and fast... like there's no weight to the swing, it just comes out like he's swinging a piece of paper. That kind of stuff hopefully gets fine-tuned and fixed up. A little too arcadey for my tastes... it's very hard to describe what's weird about it. But the swing animation itself could be a little bit more grounded to the person swinging it, put some weight on it.

i like the graphics and the music is phenomenal, BUT that 1 human handled that klown.. that doesn’t look promising

Completely understandable. He just kinda ran up and took Rudy down with no effort. I wonder if having a pocket knife and a weapon at the same time pushes the confidence meter sky high for the survivors. Not to mention the pocket knife has three uses, so hopefully they are EXTREMELY hard to come by. The only thing to keep in mind tho as well is how often the Klowns come back and how harder they get to take out over time, AND... how long does it take to escape or do objectives. So they may be easy at first.. but as a match carries on, do they become more difficult to deal with? We'll have to see.

I'll be honest, that UI is grotesque. It reminds me of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, where there was just WAY too much stuff on-screen. Keep it simple.

I do hope the UI becomes a little more simplistic. The first thing I noticed when I saw the initial gameplay leak is that the UI is WAAAAAY too busy. It's distracting to the actual game.

I talk about it in my last video, but Killer Klowns looks like the dev team went and looked at all the asyms that we've ever played, and applies all the parts they liked from each one into the Killer Klowns game, which is a fantastic idea. Just an asym smashed together with just about everything we've ever played, and this could be a great idea!
