Please, how do the CX-11 Control and the CX-14H (also known for control) paddles compare? Does the CX-11 control have less control and more power than the CX-14? Thank you!
I noticed I can see some ball marks on the face, like impact tape on a golf club. One question what is the best way to clean off the ball marks? I like seeing where I am contacting the ball.
At around 0.50 you say that the cx11 is thinner so less volume than the cx14 and therefore quicker. How does the volume of a paddle affect the quickness through the air?(assuming same size and shape and swing weight)
Why does the quadraform shape have a taper at the paddle throat, when some of the other paddles don't have that gradual transition between the handle width and the paddle? I know you're not supposed to hit the ball at this spot, but I sometimes have, and obviously the ball doesn't go where I expect it to when that happens.
Hello Kenneth - Thank you for playing the quadraform shape, we hope you are loving it. The reason for the taper at the paddle throat is to reinforce the paddle and handle. Since the handle is shorter we want to give more support.
Hello, I am a beginner, coming from an advanced table tennis background. I am a spinny player in TT, and would like to have that ability in Pickleball. Would you recommend the CX14 for a beginner who likes to spin? Or would it be smarter to go with the CX11 Control?
Honestly both the CX11 or CX14 will work. The Current CX14's are the softest paddles we have then the CX11 Control. We offer a demo program on our website that allows you to try 4 paddles before you buy, might be a good way to try out a few options. www.gearboxsports.com/pickleball_en/demo.html
What about paddle weight? I am not big guy, but sometimes miss sweet spots , could use little more power, sometimes my wrist bends a little I am not going to overpower people, so my strengths are more placement and touch Using 7.8 now
