The story's awesome but not at all scary like my friend said it would be. I love watching horror movies but it didn't scare me. The acting was brilliant as well. My review not that anyone cares. 😁😁
Oh I had no idea this was a Temper remake, halfway in the trailer I was like _wait a minute_ , then they mentioned rapists and I had no doubt! It's funny because they're building this Hindi remake of Temper, a Telugu film, as a spin off (I'd definitely say spin off rather than sequel) of Singham, but Singham itself was the remake of a Tamil movie completely unrelated to Temper... Interesting :) Temper was a big hit in Telugu cinema because it showed a corrupted cop facing the consequences of his actions, there was definitely a message in the movie. It's all fun at first then it gets serious and "socially conscious" in the second half.
Simba is the name coz singham means lion and this kid was inspired to join police by seeing ajay devgn character in reel life so lion cub name simbaa lionking reference this is crossover of singham and simbaa there will be more in this universe of singham
Lazy, laid back bollywood. Ranveer Singh deserves much better, he is a very good actor. Rohit shetty and team are just making spoofs of their own movies.

Singham means LION and that was Ajay Devgan in Singham Movie, in this spin off of the same universe SIMBA I think it means lion cub as the name is common for cubs after lion king...so Ranveer is like SIMBA - the small lion
U are right upto some degrees that we indians have gotten less sensitive about that issue, but it's not completely true. It's tragic for every one. the fact that it's talked about more in the movies maybe cause they wanna address that crime, as that tragic thing is happening in India more than anywhere in the world. But then as u said, It's also used as a tool to make the audience hate the villian more or provide them with a reasonable reason to do so.. So in the end I can say I can't totally agree nor disagree with Ur statement. It's like when u are dealing with so much horrible stuff , u start getting used to it.. and that is fu**ed up. Maybe movies are trying to prevent that.. "don't lose hope, let's fight this evil together" I hope I was of some help and didn't wasted Ur time Peace.
You are actually right we all Asians get used to or eased up with these horrible crimes but using that kind of situation or story plot will show us we shouldn't tolerate these crimes rather we should stand up and fight together not alone
Loved the way you interpreted the perception of rape in the movies and in real life here and there! It's exactly on point! Rape was used too recklessly earlier in the Indian cinema! But these days film makers here are more sensible and are taking it more seriously and condemning the act! So they're very keen on showing what an evil thing rape is! So it is like the highest degree of crime one can commit! And about the way we as a people perceive rape is pretty much same here and there! It's evil, it's inhumane and it's neither justifiable nor excusable!!

BUT Rohit Shetty has made some personal touches of his style to his movie "Simmba" linking with Singham which is again a remake of Tamil movie Trilogy Singam starring Suriya. It's not like that every actor has to do massy films....Like vd everyone trolled him for doing judwaa 2 so he tried movies like October and shi dhaga which at least tried to show something new.......But they were flops so vd will again do massy films

@jabykoy name is taken in reference to lion cub. Coz as u see Ajay Devgan comes at end of trailer which is played In Singham (Lion). So as Ranveer Character is inspired from Singham so this movie is named Simmba.

Jaby you didn't get the reference to movie's title simmba. This movie is titled simmba because here the kid is inspired from Singham, and Singham means lion. So this kid is simmba, like a son of Singham.

You know what Jaby and Achara, the SIMBBA trailer was indeed funny, but the icing on the cake was the last entry made by Ajay.Devghan (SINGHAM) in the typical SINGHAM style. Ajay completely nailed it..
Here in India it's really sad to say that rape crime has increased over the years or at least more rape incidents were reported. Your analogy is somewhat correct that people in India don't get too uncomfortable to watch rape scenes in movie as it's the trends continuing from 80s. Anyway this is just sad and we definitely don't want this kind of incidents 😔😞
It seems its a dubbing of Temper of Junior NTR telagu movie. Mixing of Singham and temper cool one. Ranvir is just awesome he will give good justice for his role.
