I remember paying $700 for my g4z waders back in 2010. Still working great!

Just got these. Best waders that I’ve had including several pairs of Simms, Patagonia, Reddington. More comfortable fabric, very streamlined. Love the suspenders

I bought a pair of G4-Z's a few years ago after watching a video stating that they would last three times longer than "ordinary" waders. That helped me justify the over $1,000 Canadian price. While on a fishing trip, I stumbled and scraped a knee trying to keep up with the guide (note to other guys in their 70's - park your ego). Aquaseal got me through the rest of the season and I sent them off to Simms for a $60 new booties rebuild at the end of the year. To my utter disbelief, Simms sent me a new pair. This was after two seasons of use! If the pair they sent me ever wears out, I'm sticking with Simms.

Tried these compared to my old and to be honest nothing overly “new”. In fact my old ones feel a little thicker. I’m sure some simms rep or fanboy will say they’re a better fabric now but the old ones feel more puncture proof. I’ve played with some of the newer simms waders and they definitely puncture faster than my old.
