They gave him everything. And more. And what they couldn't give him, he took anyway. In the form of appearances and interviews even though they were sick; their overcrowded day and night schedule and then being locked in their hotel rooms; the general ban on visiting therapists and permission to only consult “physical” doctors he had chosen. And so much more. Not to mention their contracts etc. I hope everyone who hears or watches this listens VERY CLOSELY. And understand what kind of person it must be to say something like that. And I don't need to know the back story. What he says here and now is enough!!!!

It's this simple, they were given a fantastic chance to change their lives enormously and they were all rejected as solo singers but were given that chance to be part of a band and took it you can see in those video's how desperately they wanted to sing even though zayn didn't want to do it he went along with it but once those contracts were signed they were virtually owned and probably realised too late what it all entailed but they learnt the trade while on the job visited places they never heard of before made tons of money but due to archaic practice those who were gay were closeted and there was nothing they could do I'm sure it wasn't all doom and gloom for them and would they do it all again had they known beforehand? I think yes but only they know and just to mention about contracts etc we as fans know nothing but people's opinions can soon become " fact" when we don't really know and I am not 1D fan that is done and dusted but I support them as solo artists which they truly are.

And to this day, 1D stans and his oen bandmates never apologised to Zayn for wanting to break free of this monster and the monsterous prison industry. No one will ever talk about his mental health decline and how music industry blacklisting, alienation, and racial stereotyping and hatred from worldwide 1D stans exacerbated his mental health decline. The possible only one to apologise in a way has been Harry if you believe Matilda is about Zayn.

The fact that he brings up in another interview how successful they all are (including Harry) and yet, insuates on the same podcast as the Liam interview, that he would essentially have them tour again, use the band name to profit off of them again. It's... evident that he does not care one bit about the boys and how they were treated and is more focused on the monetary aspects that comes from the band. (I legit can't with this man.)
