No one can be compared to a loving father. I am 87 now I still remember my father carrying me and going to a river to swim. I got married, my father bought me my first car and when I was admitted in hospital my father was the first one to visit me after I had my thyroid operation . I came to learn later I was his only adopted child. May heaven be his rest.
I remember Simon before and after his son. It’s amazing what a child can do to a parent. It’s instant love. I know everyone has seen him changed through the years, but he has become more kind with contestants and even tears up. He adores that little boy. 💙

Being a father has made Simon a better man. He has such a cute little boy and he is complete now, you can have all the money and fame in the World but being lucky enough to have a precious child to love makes life worth living. Everything has more meaning and it’s wonderful to have that unconditional love in your heart.

@@tg7112 Baselessly??? Are you crazy? Look up American Idol beginning with season 1. He wasn't just harsh, he was cruel with his comments to people. He wasn't any better on BGT either. I've watched every show he has ever been on including X-factor in both the UK and US, He went from being a total asshole who everyone was terrified of to being a teddy bear, and has been that way ever since Eric was born. I have over 2 decades of watching the various talent shows he's been the head judge on, so my remark was NOT "baselessly".
Simon found his “Daddy mode.” Nothing in life compares to the love of a child. Simon’s view changed. His love for children and adults is the very best part of “Got Talent” franchise. The sparkle ✨ in his eyes is bright.

I have always liked Simon. I have noticed he is calmer and happier now that he is in the relationship and has his son Eric in his life. He always loved dogs and now he has it all. He is a great father. He is hands on with Eric. Always makes time for him. I love how he brings him to his job and we get to see Eric sitting with his dad. Simon adores this boy and his son has so much love for his daddy. I think it's fantastic how Simon is with his child. He has a lot of love to give. Animal lovers usually do. :)

Simon seems to have softened over the years, and I am sure the birth of his son has helped too.. I believe he is genuinely a good man, cares about people, albeit blunt and direct..I have heard him admit more than once when he's wrong, specifically on the music shows... I respect him for that.
These are the most beautiful photos of Simon with his son Eric. Becoming a father, I believe can and in most often does change a man for the better. I only had my father for almost 7 years of my life and how I wish he hadn’t been killed when he was. I know my father loved me, as my mum kept telling me “your father loved you kids”. He was a good and loving father. So nice to see Simon Cowell in a very different light.
It made me miss my dad a little more . He was the loving father than Simon is . Just lost him 2 months ago . He kept me going and always showered us with his unconditional love .
I lost my dad when I was 12 yrs old. Circumstances were I usually only saw him on a weekend. I grew up in a family where there were no hugs, kisses and never heard the 3 words that everyone loves to hear, I love you. Today I have my own kids and grandkids and when we get together we hug each other and big arm hugs. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. I'm retired now and the kids are schooling working and some of them live out of town. Sometimes out of the blue when I'm thinking about them I just get my phone and text each one to say just old man checking in .I love you. I come away from that phone with the biggest smile on my face.💖💖💖
It was sweet on one episode he said his son changed his life. Changed how he treated people on the show. He now takes others feelings into consideration.
What a great dad! Not afraid to show his love for his son by holding him, playing with him, giving him a hug or kiss. That's the way it should be. Good for you Simon! Hopefully some men who are already dad's & those who will be new dad's will realize "It's OK for a father to give your son a hug or kiss on the head or cheek & tell them that you love them." That's what "real" men do, not cowards. Boys need to know that their fathers love them too, not just little girls.

He has a unique way of holding his infant son that at first looks awkward but as his son grows it starts looking more like fatherly tenderness. He's a very 'carefilled' dad. Very sweet to see.
The change in Simon from before Eric as a rough, sharp-tongued critic, to after Eric as a gentle, kind and softer evaluator is nothing short of amazing. Simon seems so much happier and content now than he ever has. This is beautifully done.
