TELLY guru Simon Cowell has revealed how becoming a dad saved him from a “dark” obsession with work.
Simon, 63 - whose shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor launched Harry Styles and Little Mix - was consumed by ratings wars before the birth of Eric, eight.

I’ve always admired this man. So unbelievably authentic. He speaks the same now as he did at the beginning of his career. Upfront, thoughtful about his answers and so honest about his mistakes. I pray to god he does bring X Factor back because I 110% trust him after listening to this. Smart man

Simon is a articulate Englishman who speaks like a gentleman. He doesn’t say too much or speak too quickly. He is easy to listen to and explains himself well. A thinker. But is he a deep thinker who wonders about life? Maybe he is. Success is terribly important isn’t it, but it’s not the end all and be all, is it? Because there’s more to life than this. However as deep philosophical thinking can be confrontational, it’s not for everyone. For instance, did Jesus really rise from the dead? Did that actually happen? And if it did, then what shall we say about his sayings?

Really brings it home just how deeply “social” media has ripped the fabric of society to permanent shreds at this point. Everyone on their worst and most petty behaviour at all times, putting their most negative foot forward. Tearing things down while hiding in the shadows. And now this behaviour has begin to show up IRL. As we devolve back down into ill-mannered,jealous apes. Yay!
