I thought it was clearly a joke but the way Simon reacted might hint that it wasn’t a joke after all.. honestly if he would’ve just played it off and laughed it would’ve been far less obvious!

I'm a fan of both David and Simon and I saw misconceptions here. There are a few things I'd like to clear up: 1. Simon isn't married. He's in a relationship with Lauren and he has a 4 year-old son named Eric. 2. David doesn't like to identify his sexuality because he thinks people can change over the years. He believes that you can fall in love with someone not only with his/her body but also with someone's soul, heart and brain. 3. David is divorced with Lara Stone. He has a son named Alfred. 4. They crossed each other's lines over the years. They are also quick to forgive each other. 5. David is attracted to Simon but I don't know if Simon is. The point is David made crude jokes and he apologized to Amanda and Simon. He is not only a judge but also a comedian so he is pressured to think of something to make people laugh. He crossed the line, yes, but he thought it was funny until he said it after and saw Simon's reaction. I personally think they've done worse lmao (ex. Simon joking about David's failed marriage and David pulling his trousers down). I still love them both so much, though.
