Dear Mr Arteta, Aaron will be unable to take part today due to him having an upset tummy all night …it seems to have all come out but I’d appreciate if you could excuse him from todays Premier League game, Yours faithfully Mrs Ramsdale aka Mum
All any of it is, one person holds x position, the other holds y and que the calls from enraged fans who don't agree. Nothing more than a debate club. It's why sometimes they have silly or ridiculous positions, it's all designed to generate debate. Bring on the spectacle of Jim ribbing Simon and that's the formula. Predictable.
That's why Simons not smiling, jealous of football players because they once let him down. He's never got over it, the hatred and insecurity is ripping out of him
Men who have grew up all their lives without a father or a dead beat dad would wish their father would defend their Son to death irrespective of their earnings, profession or age - it’s all about perspective I’m guessing
"Aaron's not smiling". But he's still taking the £120,000 per week/£6,240,000 per annum all the way to the bank. ffs. If he's not happy, he can go back to Sheffield United/Chesterfield/Worksop and the wages there. And have a bit of humility. It's a dog-eat-dog world. Talk about first-world problems.
@@MehrunesDagonJMhow is he jealous because he’s stated when you get paid a kings ransom this is what’s at stake, nobody’s guaranteed a place, and it’s a cutthroat world at the top, and you’re compensated more than generously financially for those reasons… stop looking for jealousy that isn’t there mate
@@AdamsSpursViewit’s still not good to pocket watch or tell people to behave bc they are being paid. Paid or not they are still humans and it’s still difficult to go from being Arsenal #1 to not especially since he performed well. Let’s not act like it’s easy and straightforward for Ramsdale to be dropped. It’s always easy to give a cheap opinion from the sideline as a fan
@@theach84 but the point is, if Aaron can’t handle the competition then he should sacrifice his 120k a week and drop down a level to a lower PL club, with less at stake and less competition for places, who will only be able afford to pay him not even half that if he wants to be guaranteed a starting place, let’s see how much the first team football REALLY matters to him
This is such an embarrassing story as is Harry Maguire's mum going public in his defence! Once I turned 18 I could always go to my dear late dad for advice and even solace but I would never want him to speak on my behalf and he would never do that. Glad to hear Danny Murphy would also leave it to his son to sort out his life and job! Are some of our footballers just parent dependent man boys?
I’d say it’s completely different, though I wouldn’t want my parents to do it maguire has been abused worldwide for the past 2 years where as ramsdales dad has spoke publicly about Aaron’s unhappiness of not being picked
Tbf to maguire he gets loads of abuse online. I think it’s more bullying than criticism at times. Ramsdales just crying which cause he isn’t playing which is childish.
😂😂😂😂Ramsdale is out doing interviews saying he can’t concentrate for 90 minutes in a game and his Dad is doing podcasts I bet Arsenal wish they’d both do one at this point
@@nickchemist723 the fact he’d played a few games and was clearly a competent goalkeeper before they sold him is even more baffling. Can only think his age counted against him.
Yo that Southampton game killed us. We never recovered from that. The team just fell apart afterwards and whats funny is that was my first live game at the emirates 😢
Raya had more mistakes in less than 10 games this season than Rambo had since he joined Arsenal. You also conviniently forget all the amazing saves he made last year
@@AlvenmodFotoRamsdale was always a concern for me, prone to howlers, can't kick, as soon as a player runs him down it's a 50:50 chance he gets caught out. The reason he came out of last season smelling of roses is because Arsenal were very good last year. This is a goalie relegated on multiple occasions. What he needs to do is pull his socks up and get back in the team.
Simon and Danny are spot on, any grown man, sportsman or not would or should be mortified that his parent are coming out publicly to defend his corner. Ramsdale is old enough and big enough to fight his own corner for Christ sake, he’s not 8 years old.
His dad didn't have to come out and throw a spanner in the harmony of the Arsenal squad especially at this time. This is the problem with modern society. We have too many broken homes and the ones that aren't are full of weak fathers who act on emotion before processing the logic.
@@darrylkemp3253depends on the study you read…. Still not wise to come out and admit, especially when concentrating is a big part or being a keeper, particularly for Arsenal who have the ball for large amount of game. Not wise
@@darrylkemp3253 yeah I agree…but for a pro to come right out and state it in public is a bit wild…maybe some more media training required but he’s a young lad
@@celticsole7542 mate he said something similar in the Ben Foster podcast but because he was no1 and playing well at the time no one said anything. I get what he's trying to say and many goalies have the same same issue, footballers are not the most intelligent or articulate people so it came out wrong. Ramsdale's Dad running his gums is a completely different situation and utterly ridiculous
Could this be the type of mentality Arteta noticed in Ramsdale that made him bring in Raya. Its very embarrassing. Ramsdale came in and took Leno's place, I'm sure Leno's parents were upset about it for their son but as we all know.... life goes on and now he's at Fulham. I actually dont know if there is a way back for Ramsdale after this. Him and his dad have just brought in uneccessary pressure on themselves and Arsenal.
One thing for sure is that Arsenal do not take these things lightly. I do not think he’ll be on the bench again until he gets sold in January. Players like Pepe have been treated much worse without their parents going to the media.
Ramesdale is not as good as the English media are making out. He made terrible mistakes which cost us dearly. Raya is 100% better but because ramesdale is lad you can have a pint with every one is getting emotional
Nick Ramsdale should take a back seat on this, or he risks ruining his son's career at Arsenal. I'm sure that Arteta will have a few words to say to Aaron once the international break is over.
Not sure why the Son is being blamed for the dads actions. Throwing shade at the player when the player hasnt actually done anything seems strange to me.
Ramsdale's Dad needs to step out of the limelight. He's making things worse for his son. It reminds me of coaching an U-15 boys team and the parents of the boys not playing giving you grief. It's pathetic.
@@dominicthelordkabinga Because his dad has shared his opinion twice it shows he runs the show? He could not have any relationship with his son and still have a bloody opinion. There’s a billion idiots on X defending players. Doesn’t mean they are running the persons life
I was a bemchwarmer GK for a lower league club and ended up doing the non league scene to pay myself through uni. I also had an overbearing dad living vicariously through me, nothing would be more embarrassing than when I'd see he'd be on the fans forums arguing with the fans after I had a bad game. And that was for a Northern Prem side, I can't even imagine how embarrassing it must be for Ramsdale
@@TwistedSoul2002 probably true, imagine if it wasn't though how fuming he would be right now at him. He's probably getting slaughtered by the lads at training and rightly so
While I agree it's a bit cringe for his Father to be making all these media statements... it does feel a bit ironic for people who make a living spouting opinions to criticise others for doing the same.
As simon jordan's 'illegitimate' father.. I sincerely regret my one-nite-stand.. I couldn't help myself.. I was only 6 years old.. Apologies to everyone..
Are we saying, only Ramsdale and Maguire are the ones who got parents or having difficulties in their career (clubs)? Not at all, Every professional footballer got their own issues in their own clubs but I've never heard any parent comes out publicly and speak on behalf of their sons.
@@darthpaul490 No one knows. Even if he got asked why not saying "NO" considering his son is a grown man professional footballer? He made the situation worse now. Not helping at all.
This is true, if the man is 2nd choice just tell him, not this BS about, I don't have a first choice. My worry is not only Ramsdale, but the squad. It's all well and good to want to have players fighting, but what happens when players start thinking, "Hang on, if Arteta can lie to Aaron's face and get him to sign a contract only tobuy his replacement a month later, what can happen to me"
@@benjamindadzie9657 Logically, would you sign a new contract if you were told that you would be second choice. Probably not. Also, most fans were not that attached to Leno as they are to Ramsdale. I also don't think Leno was treated fairly but hey. Look I'm not here force Ramsdale back into the team (like I can even do that) but I can understand the feelings of many Arsenal fans about this decision. Ramsdale was incredibly popular and is actually a very good GK. Is Raya better, Arteta thinks so, which I trust, but then again he's also the one who keeps playing Havertz. So yeah lol
Aaron Ramsdale signed a 4 year / £12,880,000 contract with the Arsenal F.C., including an annual average salary of £3,220,000. He's a professional sports person and his Dad needs to wind his neck in.
His Father loves him with all of his heart thats why he spoke he is only looking after him all beit on a big scale with social media etc, you will defend your children with your life if you have anything about you, he has a right to speak just like anyone does, this great country we live in allows this thank goodness, and he did praise the other keeper to be fair to him, I dont have a problem with this at all well done to Mr Ramsdale
I never talk to my 13 years old son coach about anything… my son showed know how to handle himself with people… I am always discussing with him in the car going home and give him my honest opinion
This is his dad’s fault. Just keep quiet. The Arsenal fans love and respect Ramsdale but he will lose the respect of the coaching staff if this continues. For Ramsdale’s dad to make the statement even that Raya hasn’t pulled up trees is ridiculous.
Danny Murphy tough-talking pundit. Except when it comes to his mates who he won't hear a bad word about. Even when they deserve every bit of criticism they're getting. Absolute hypocrite.
I want to see Suella Beavertown's mum Conseula come out and give her thoughts on being sacked by Rishi Rich while parents are getting involved... 'Mr superman not here... noooo'
Once a parent always a parent,it's natural to defend your own, but if I was Ramsdale junior, I would tell my father to leave me get on with it,as an adult figure it out.
