Richarlison has spent hardly anytime at Tottenham playing as a number 9. He spent most of the time before last season stuck on the left. When he did play as a 9, he scored nearly every game before he got injured. Is Solanke really an upgrade on him? I don't think so.

Richarlison is good, and the Solanke competition will do wonders for both players because the gulf in quality is far less than was between Richy and Kane.

Richarlison has no interest in leaving, and Ange has no interest in him leaving. By adding Solanke, Spurs now have a great 1-2 punch at striker. Gabby apparently fails to realize that Spurs need more than one good player at this position.
