Arsenal should be given +5 points at the end of the season for their constant bickering about their injuries because their fans think they are the only side that has injuries. Arsenal spent 600 million so they should be the last team to complain about anything
Pep never complains about injuries, he just deals with it, it’s part of the game, the only thing he mentions is the scheduling, and it’s a concern for everyone. As for The “oracle” Simon Jordan, he never had anything positive to say regarding MCFC, he’s a hater like everyone else, so NO Mr Jordan, we don’t give a flying fook what you have to say.
Of course he’s going to say that, he hates City, yes every team have injuries, but not to the 2 best midfielders in Europe/ The World over the past 5+ years in KDB and Ballon D’Or winner Rodri.
Hang on a minute I love it how talkSPORT like to create drama out of this so everybody else put a negative point on Guardiola thinking that he’s hard done by he knows that our squad is thin but you just get on with it. This is just typical sports media dramatising it so everybody creates an agenda yeah nice one every club has injuries. You just have to get on with it.
Guardiola has never elicited sympathy for any of these situations, he deals with it. It IS newsworthy, no more, that Manchester City have 9 injuries, When put into context that Manchester City have 26 players, 5 of whom never play Scott Carson, Calvin Phillips, Maximo Perrone, James McAtee, Joshua Wilson-Esbrand. It is worth mentioning, that Manchester achieve all this success with THE smallest squad in the league, and the 6th highest budget in the last 5 years, contradicting the moneybags narrative/Lie propagated by Simon Jordan.
@@user-ys7eg8ev7fmost of what each club spends is in wage bill not transfer budget. Haaland & Mbabbe were “free transfers” but they cost each club more in wages & sign on bonuses than the 100 mil transfer players. It’s all abt wage bill.
Everyone gave out about Arsenal complaining about injuries and said “well you should have a squad to deal with it” so the team that literally can buy anyone every summer can just get on with it and stop complaining too
Why have Arsenal outspent City for the past 5 years if that's the case? Madrid the most successful club in the world can't sign everybody never mind City
This Simon LAD is so bitter towards Pep and City.. He's jealous and salty that Pep is a much more successful and household name than he'll ever be... We can see thru all this "pUnDiTrY" BS! 🤡😂
Boo hoo city's first major injury 'crisis'. Sympathy levels ZERO!!! If its as bad as pep makes out which I don't think its that bad at all. I can only laugh and hope that it is as bad as i hope it is and it gets worse.
Yes every club gets injuries and no one denies that. But to act as tho there is no difference btwn having 2-3 injuries 8+ injuries days you're either a fool or you're being completely disingenuous. City have 8 first team injuries with the possibility of a 9th pending Ake and one could argue, of those 8, 5 are starters. That’s simply not the same thing as having 3-4 players out bc the magnitude is far greater. What other PL club has a similar injury problem (and I don’t mean for 1 game, but for what looks to be an extended period)? The only one I can think of would be last seasons MU
Liverpool fielded a team of half kids in the League Cup final last year. They also had a year where, for 6 months, they had no centre backs and had to play Nathan Phillips and loan in someone from Shalke. Newcastle had 10 out at one point a season or two ago as well. No one is going to feel an ounce of sympathy for a club like City. You've got a ridiculous squad. Now is the time to use it.
@sitaylor Fair enough, they won the game at the end with the kids, though. The point still stands. They had injuries and got over the line. City have a stacked squad, so OP hunting for sympathy is just pathetic when you know he was loving the injuries from rivals when it helped them.
And you can still field 11 players better than any other teams 11. This is the type of firepower & advantage pep usually has when not in an injury crisis.
I think people didn't read the last few words of my comment because "we'll still win the league" shows I'm not making excuses and still expect success.... Unlike certain other clubs!
Which Arsenal injuries are you talking about? Compare your injuries to Grealish, Doku, Savio, Kdb, Akanji, Bobb,Rodri, Ake and possible Gvardiol please
I am sure Pep is devastated that a guy named Simon is not concern with their injury problem. He really wanted to know what Simon says about the situation. 🤡
What every club has 7 senior players out injured at the same time? Talksport ain't got a clue. I don't know of any other club this season that has such a decimated squad. But we're Man City and we'll never give up and keep fighting till the end. 🩵
