i guess im randomly asking but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
I love Simon talking about discs because he tends to say “for the pros” or “for average players”. Most other pros just talk about discs like everyone can throw them the way pros do. Thank you for those inflections Simon!!!
I just went through this struggle Simon!! I tried a less stable putter. I liked it for big anny putts or lofty style putting but felt my putting skills dropped. Even was asked by my wife/caddy why my putts look weird. Put the P2 back in the bag and I am back to slamming putts. Gonna certianly keep one less stable in my bag for anny or lofty putts when needed but my mental game just says don't miss the first putt and spin those P2s to their home!
I feel super lucky to have a metal flake md5 I think it was from a mystery box. Has become my favorite disc for the same reasons. Hopefully I can find another !!
As for Dome... I needed a trustworthy headwind driver, so I found an XCal with the most aggressive pop top I’ve ever felt. Got out to the course, and it was flippier than any xCal I’ve ever thrown! It flies more like a Pro Destroyer but just doesn’t go as far.
I’m trying to do something crazy. And minimize my bag down to four molds. Do you think that dark mail 2 could cover the fairway driver slot? How long do they take to beat into a flip up disc?
His vlogs vs. This is pretty amusing. Vlog shots I feel are mostly p1x, night strike, older glow md3, and some dd3s. I haven’t seen half these discs lol
We he IS trying to do good by Discmania too. Most pros seem to agree that they could be throwing whichever brand really, it's all in the money, with a little bit of loyalty mixed in :)
I honestly think the method is one of the best Mid ranges and the MD3 is just ok. The fact that Simon and Eagle throw the MD3 over the Method makes me wonder if it’s just familiarity keeping them from switching.
@@Thenamesnelson Method is more overstable mid than md3 and Simon probably doesn't need that stability since he can manipulate the angles of hes s-line md3 and using md5 as a overstable disc.
Anna found the fairway on that impossible hole in Waco this year. The commentary guys thought he threw an FD or MD, but any Simon fan knows Anna is an FD3.
The funny thing is that Disc Mania made Simon do this post on their page. despite Simon has double the amount of followers. Hmmm.. think about that Disc Mania. Was this a good business move, or not.
Other pros be like: and thats about it there was all my discs and my bag Simon be like: oh and i got my wallet in here and i got my water bottle and keys and some batteries..
Domey just means more glide. The more overstable a disc is, the less it'll naturally want to glide (less air flows over the top, noses of understable discs "point" lower, think archangel, and wings work by air flowing over the top and being redirected down/Bernoulli effect, it's complicated and debated, but it's one of the two), so a more "overstable" disc might be tuned to be domier so that it will glide more. As for variances with individual molds, it would probably come down to how different colors of the mold cool to form different shapes, and be more on a mold-to-mold basis.
I don't understand how dome gives a disc more overstability. I'm suspecting Simon might not be scientifically correct. As you throw in discs, they become more domey, and more understable.
Well yeah hits knock down the PLH little by little but I dont think it makes them extra domey tho. PLH is always king in determining stability, dome seems to vary disc to disc/run to run. (2nd run PD2s were crazy poptop OS for example)
Also not being a scientist, I understand that, theoretically, as the side of the disc hits the ground and trees, that could, possibly, microscopically create more dome. The under-stability of 'old' discs comes from fatigue in the plastic, which produces more wobble and less stability. The dome causing stability may have to do with the increased 'airfoil' shape.. May have to do. Again, not an engineer or scientist.
