I saw this awsome band in De Boederij, Zoetermeer on the next evening playing the same set. An incredible group of musicians, each master of their instrument. Their CD is constantly playing in my car!
I don’t think I’ve seen this before. Whilst I wasn’t overly impressed with the sound, I thought Simon’s clock i.e. his groove, was definitely on the money and I thought it was really well played. Whilst it could’ve been the capture, the front of house sound did not sound great. Superb playing though.
The revival of the huge drum kit! Could have used heavier cymbals in a large open venue like this. The difference between a fusion act and a rock act with lead singer. Crowd rambles, talks, socializes...compare this to a Foo Fighter or 30 Seconds to Mars show.
What are you saying? I can't understand you, the music is too loud? Or in other words: Either chat somewhere else or listen in front of the stage to that GREAT EVENT. Andy is in a great mood to play!
Duth is very rusty So I won't even try Awesome concert would have loved to have been there, Been a jazz drummer from (9 years old) Dad was huge john Coltrane fan Americans don't get it any more, really sad. My son jazz drummer % bands only paying good band in a 90s coverband! Sad So So Sad, and this is a jazz/ blues town, but so many bands that play for free :(
