Nowadays it's all about maximizing the amount of people that click on a video, as there are so many videos it's hard to stand out. And there's only two things to explore to accomplish this: thumbnail and titles. So people make flashy thumbnails and write titles that drag viewers to click the video. They very rarely match what was said but the objective was accomplished by getting you here. As an example just go on Josh's channel and every reddit video has a clickbait title that doesn't really match the content of the video. And Simon and Randolph also do it with the clips videos of the podcast
