Quick-change artists normally spend years repeating their same act in order to perfect the transitions. Lea is debuting a new set of costumes with very little prep time each appearance! So impressive!
I was a little worried when her first audition was almost identical to what she did on Penn and Teller's Fool Us, but they've only gotten better each time.
I understand why some people say the performance is short, but you must consider the fact that they only have a few days to prepare for the Finale: making the props, rehearsals, rest days, etc. I mean, we have seen in her previous performances what she can really do and taking these performances into consideration, I kind of agree with Simon. @@luhstephen3016 there are quick releasing zip wires that get attached to her outer layers placed all over the set. If you notice most of the time she stops for a quick change it's next to a gap or drawer or some other trap door...there's someone there quickly latching onto loops. There are also quick release strings she pulls herself, you can see one at 1:07 with her thumb near her belly button. Then at 1:10 you see her use her left hand to clearly grab a release string that she pulls once the confetti comes flying out. Once you notice these you can see how almost every change is done.
Imagine living with this woman and getting ready to go out somewhere. "Should I wear this outfit, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one,?"
Please remember she makes and designs her own outfits and she is a solo act and she only has a few days to prepare for her performance. It was short yes but she was up day and night preparing for this, so in a way it was waaaaay too long lol She puts her heart and soul and all her time and energy into her performances everyone. She is a goddess.
she is the greatest quickchange. amazing. the other hand every show of hers the same. no new things really, the dresses are about the same style too, minus the few little decor elements, and colors of course. the more i watch her performances, the less special it feels. cant help. there isn't anything new. so amazed, a fan... but an honest one sharing how i feel.
Even though she didn't win....I saw the agt winner for 2021.....but I'm very confident she will still have her own show in Vegas just like tapeface when he didn't win Lea is the queen of quick change Might not have won but she went out in style Good luck forward lea
I think her artistry is so unique and flawlessly executed her good looks and her modeling talent all together isn't enough for you then include her sweet sincere what you see is what you get personality and you have something that people would love to see. She could really put a show together that everyone young and old would enjoy .she is the real deal congratulations you have achieved the American dream.
I first saw her on Penn&Teller's Fool Us. Where she did fool them. The big take away was that Penn said that she is not simply a "quick change" artist, she's a magician.
@@coxzocidhejene684 yes, she layered all , so in open area, she pushed the bottom something. She custom designed all her wardrobes. Using confetti, she does a quick change like her last finale.
I was trying to figure out how she did it when she was away from her props, but notice the black capes in the final couple outfits before the last dress? I'm thinking they get pulled off and cling to her back under the capes, since she makes sure to stand in the same spot and not turn around at all. Then somehow she is able to maneuver those under the dress at the end. My theory at least. Super cool! And involves a lot of coordinating and skill to plan it all. You can definitely tell all the outfits are under each other if you pay attention to lengths and the bulkiness especially at the beginning.

Because that’s the only positive thing he can really find to say about the act. I’ve watched it in the slowest of motion and now that I’ve done that, it’s kind of taken the true amazement away. The hand is quicker than the eye...like any magic trick, basically. Just using a string/cord and incorporating the use of them into her movements. She’s good. Still has some refining to do. No, I couldn’t do it nor do I have such a desire, but there’s clearly a lot more talent than this.
I’ve seen her act since she began AGT. Personally, I think her husband is the real brain behind all of her quick-change acts. And I could even possibly say, that he is the one pulling her dresses off from behind each time. I’m not saying that it doesn’t look awesome, it’s definitely worth seeing. ✨
he didn't sew or make her designs. he should have learned a thing or two from her. put both on stage for him to change CDs over her while the clothes change at the same time his disks change. epic

Yep, I agree with Simon, she is the best in the World for Quick Change, Just Amazing. Should have won. How this act did not win I will never understand.
Am i the only one here trying to figure it out how she done this quick changed magic? 🤯🤯🤯 mind blowing, i don't even think she's a human after watching her magic 😅😅
What amazes me the most, is that at the start, she's wearing like, 10 different dresses, yet still has a slim waste!! If I had to put on that many layers, I would look like the Michelin Man!!!
If Leah does not win the whole thing, Aidan should. I know the singers on the show are good, but I so desperately want an act that is not a singer to win. And I love both Leah and Aidan. Their performances leave you feeling breathless and wanting more.
Honestly I don't think it's hard to do. Notice she looks obviously bigger when she appears with the first dress. And the material of each dress is key.
