She was my second cousin and just looking back on this makes me sad. I was so young when she died and last time I saw her was when one of our relatives died. I wish I could’ve spoken to her a bit more

I remember her from the movie "We The Party". Beautiful young woman. Depression is a hurtful thing. Just because a person smiles a lot, doesn't mean they're always happy. I was in that state 18 years ago. I lost my job, my baby, his father (he cheated on me and tried to make himself look righteous as to why he cheated smh) and I had to move back home. All my family kept saying was "Don't worry about it". That wasn't the answer I wanted to hear. I felt like no one understood or cared what I was going through, so I decided a half a bottle of Valium was going to be my last meal. That was until a voice in my head told me, "Don't do this. You are so much more than what you think you're not" I tossed the pills down the toilet, prayed and healed from there.
I don't know you but if you only knew the joy that I presently feel knowing that you refused to give up and in , I only wish I could have felt the same joy from Simone's situation if she had had the same resilience that you showed
I found G.R.L last week and i enjoyed but hen i red comments i was shoked, i searched up Simon's history, i was crying, rest in peace QUEEN may all artists rest in peace who made children's childhoods better and give them power to fight...
Gosh!! I just finished watching the “We The Party” movie. I hadn’t seen it in years and decided to watch it today. & I looked sis up just to find out she had passed. Wow! Rest In Peace baby!!
She was like one Of the best singers in grl! I hate this news even tho it's from a long time ago. The whole reality of it is horrible. I just started listening to grl not too long ago and now I find out she's gone. I think before anyone else does what she did, think of what would happen to loved ones and friends if u were to go. Suicide I'd no laughing matter ppl! No more full grl is no laughing matter either! 💔

I wonder if she had a psychotic episode or something. It's so unusual, for depression no kick so quickly and the early warning signs to be so mild that are barely noticed.

My guess she signed a contract with the Mafia because sometimes it isn't the case it's just that they try to bailout if she really did do it why did she choose to be alone I'm sure there was lots of support no one should ever feel that lonely I guess sometimes we are all lost souls longing to be found
My daughter Jazzlyn Little knew Simone as well as I did from X-Factor 2011. They performed and traveled together on the show and Simone use to call me uncle Dave. She was beautiful inside and out with a passion for creating and performing music. That's why it shocked me to the core when I found out that she committed suicide. Something must have happened to her that destroyed her to the point where she felt suicide was the answer. People, my daughter left the entertainment business because it was truly a wicked place to be. In the business when your just getting started high-level producers who are established as hitmakers will try to compromise you. This is the beginning of selling your soul, and this continues if you want to remain in the spotlight to reach fame and fortune. The mistake people make when they do this is yes you can obtain wealth and fame but after time of having to go to industry parties to mingle with other artist and corporate executives where drugs and sex is the only currency, you will eventually change into a slave to this vice or become so depressed that you feel suicide is the only answer. This is the Devil's playground. I don't know what happened to Simone Battle, but it is pretty clear from this video that something was affecting her joy. You could see the turmoil in her face as she tried to smile. All Simone wanted to do was her music. She studied music so there was much love for it. Something got her, and the Devil got his prize and that is a lost soul. The Devil's greatest trick is to make you think he does not exist. and that followers of Christ are out of their minds. The world you live in did not happen by chance or the life that is on it. Science's attempt to explain it is merely based on man's theory, but the truth is much greater than that. Don't try to obtain your kingdom without God. Let Jesus be your guide because when this life is through which is very short and for some even shorter (like Simone's) your eternal life will begin, and the kingdom of God will be beyond your imagination (full of riches) just as hell is too but hell is for suffering. Remember, suicide is never the answer because that's what the Devil wants. I still pray for Simone, and I pray that this message reaches someone who needed to hear this. Does it really matter whether "she was all smiles" or not? The reason why there are so many suicides is because we don't suspect it, and coming from someone who has attempted suicide themselves twice, my parents wouldn't have known unless I told them really - so to say that it's almost like saying she had no reason to do that, like you know, choose your words better because, it could even be your best friend that is feeling like this, and you wouldn't even know, and people who feel like this are very good at masking their thoughts and emotions, so next time be careful
God they interviewed her a month before her passing. It’s 2018 3 years later I was never a fan but wow she just looks like a nice person who always has a smile on her face but u never know what people go through.

So weird , I’ve been listening to GRL late 2023 and now and I can’t believe it’s 10 years this year since this beautiful girl passed away , I remembered her on X factor and was excited to find out she was in GRL and honestly the group was on their way to becoming huge because of hype surrounding them until Simone left us .. the group wasn’t the same after she was gone … she was so special and always stood out in the group for me .. watching her in their music videos just made me sad because she had that spark and I believe if she were still alive that they would’ve be huge now and she probably would’ve have a very successful solo career . We love and miss you Simone . We’ll always remember you ❤️

i am not convinced at all this would be suicide, i know you can never know really but she had everything going for her and the group was doing very well. There are evil people in this world, especially in business like this, its easy to make something pass as suicide
so sad for her and people in world do suicide because of a personal reason kr something I wish there would been person to help her may she rest in peace
