It warms my heart to read that Simone is happy. I always love when people find their soul mate. I found mine when I was 17 1/2. We married when I was 19, and he died when I was 28. I am 61 now. I never successfully moved on. I will see him on the other side.

I can believe her didn't know WHO she was. I mean, my boyfriend didn't know who she was even after the Olympics. He knows the gymnasts now because of me. Most guys don't watch gymnastics. They will watch female track and field before any other sport except maybe female basketball.

This is an interesting relationship. Both look to be humble and supportive. They understand the world the other comes from being athletes. Both have a grounding and were well raised by family with strong ties to their families. Both have a strong work ethic but, also know how to relax, have fun and take it easy. Neither seems to be some creep out to use people or be snotty or think they are so special. They are down to earth. Best of all they love dogs. Seems to be a good match here

I’m happy for these two. They look great together and seem very down-to-Earth. She will make him a better football player, too. Her training is intense…more intense than his, because every detail of your body movement matters, so the training has to cater to that. In football, there is heavy detail, but the details are different. For a DB, they’re more about positioning, hand use, angles, and footwork. For gymnasts, every joint, none and muscle in your body must work in concert at all times.
