“….the life she’s distanced from,” was said by Shannon about only having a ph call to her dad Ronald in Paris on his recent bday. Uhhhh, NO! It’s the life Shannon CHOSE to distance herself from when she started w illegal drug and gave up her children! I do admire her for seeking a proper home for them! 😢 Drug use. Call it a disease, genetics, etc., but drugs are the choice she’s obviously made! Only 2 yrs ago, at age 50, she was still actively struggling! Perhaps Simone would be apt to honor her mother if she appeared to be trying. I can’t imagine Simone’s choice of being a stand-out athlete would be the same if she decided to have her bio-mom close in heart. We all live with effects from our childhood, good and bad, just as our parents did, and so on. WE must make choices that we want to define our lives. None of us is perfect. However, when u choose to have children, they become your responsibility and priority.
She is forgetting the heartbreak that it left the kids with psychologically. Just because she’s ready doesn’t mean that Simone will be she has her own family now x
