@@emilywolf609 you didn't have an opinion on her until right wingers decided to have a fit over her personal decision that harmed no one and means nothing for your life. How about you get upset at some shit that actually matters, like your attitude problem
I really hope that she decides not to retire and debut this great vault in worlds this or next year. It would be a shame if this amazing YDP does not get her name in the COP. Same to Jade, I hope she debut her triple doble layout before going to collage or even going pro like Simone did
The way this team forges together and gives each other this unconditional support is what I love first second third place all champions ! Simone good dismount steady girl 👑😁💥💥🔥🔥🔥
Not gonna lie. There is a sneaking suspicion I still hold that she did all this intentionally to allow her teammates to have their moments. She seems very generous that way. Especially after the heartache Skinner showed after qualifications.
BS. No GOAT would declare they are the best by saying it or having "goat" on their wardrobe. She is a woke athlete and more concerned on how much money she can make. She is a quitter. No points for 2nd place and 3rd should never even be talked about. Move on to the more dedicated athletes.
@@tulumbordon5242 she qualified for ALL team and solo events. She turned down bars, floor, and vault SOLO events as well. And notice that none of the other US gymnasts would be close to medaling on beam at all....the solo event you're mentioning.. Suni was the only one qualified to compete it and came in 5th place. While Simone, not at her best and with a watered down routine still completed it well enough to medal.
I refuse to believe that this is the end. She came back and did this, even in practice. Because if a 30-year-old female gymnast can end up on the podium this year, Simone Biles can win more medals in Paris when she’s in her late 20’s.
@@-Only.Facts- lol coming from a middle aged out of shape male sitting on his damn couch in his parent’s basement! Yeah your opinion carries weight here…loser!!
So glad you travel to Tokyo and made it back safely you did great. I know you felt like you were alone but, there were a lot of people praying for you, congratulations 😊
🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏 I watched the double pike yerchenko so many times. We went through second by millisecond for physiology science class I was teaching. Just incredible!! Even still when I watch it Hooooeeeeee! just comes out of my mouth ❤️ Both wonderful athletes! Way to go! ❤️🙌❤️ But there is just no Simone she is like Mary Lou Retton - simply phenomenal. But ya Mikayla is awesome to watch also. I know they both worked really hard for this!
It's crazy to see Simone go and then watch other girls. You can see the difference in how high Simone gets. I really don't blame her for pulling out if she was lost in the air. At that height she could have seriously hurt herself.
It happens too often sadly. Suni Lees', the all around gold medallist, well her father is paralyzed due to injury. Biles made the best decision for herself.
I don’t care if people call her a quitter The Olympics is never worth dying for.. NOONE should risk their life to make others happy or for some medal ..I’ve seen gymnast damn near snap their necks just so losers won’t call them a quitter foh and stop comparing gymnastics to the military Simone isn’t fighting in a war to save the country weirdos
Also, she didn’t “quit”, she stepped down so that the team could medal, and then withdrew from the all-around for medical/safety reasons. Saying she quit is like saying that a runner who breaks their leg during a team relay “quit” by not finishing the race, and refusing to run the next event. It’s silly! Simone participated in the final Olympic event (balance beam) and won a bronze medal. How is that quitting?
@@R.Metalidi ну да)).
I have never been able to walk a straight line! I joke that I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler. 🥴🙃 It took me a bit over 50 yrs to be able to chuck a wad of paper trash across my office and into the trash bin. I'm just thrilled for the accomplishments of the rest of our girls. They justified Simone's faith in them. I'm also greatly relieved she spoke up to her coaches who backed her decision to withdraw. I'd rather she sit out for a few Olympic events than end up like Elena Mukhina (who admitted she allowed her coaches to push her to try that tumble again on an incompletely healed broken leg and ended a brilliant career with a broken neck), in a wheelchair or worse, or dead from a broken neck. I don't like like walking across a room with vertigo even holding on to things, I would never try to do anything that took me out of contact with the floor, much less tumble over and spin in the air without any idea which way was up. Since Simone was carefully medically evaluated for fitness to continue before she was allowed to compete in beam final without any twisting in the air elements I'd say her team, coaches, and medical staff all agreed with her decision. I think her repeated falls in training the uneven bars are proof enough that she had no control over her body's awareness of location in the air. It must have been a great disappointment to her to not to be able to compete after all the work she'd put into it, so it's a sign of leadership that she stayed and cheered her teammates on instead of moping in her hotel room or running home early, thinking only of herself when her teammates needed her show of faith in them.
It kills me Simone couldn’t do this vault at the Olympics. This should absolutely have her name on it. No one else will do this vault for YEARS, if ever. However, I’m super stoked for McKayla, so I’m conflicted. Having a small team with two individuals was legit the stupidest thing the Olympic committee did for gymnastics this quad.
About a dozen, you can do a google and check under Forbes. I don't know which is the most profitable for her, but she makes 5 to 6 million in just endorsements alone.
also for the second statement, where’s your source? or are they just baseless, like you insulting her and accusing her of being a quitter because she took one for the team and didn’t want to risk permanent injury since she had the twisties.
Why don’t u go out there and do what she does? Since u like talking shit. Clearly u do not know how dangerous it is to have the twisties/ mental block, you can literally injure yourself. She doesn’t owe u not the likes of u any explanation.
She did not quit in anyway shape or form!!! She went out there and competed beam even after her twisties AND SHE CAME HOME WITH A SILVER AND BRONZE MEDAL I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU GO OUT AND DO THAT!!!
You can't do what she does and not be in the wrong mental state. Her aunt died. I'd like you to go do what she does after a family member died and do it without getting injured :)
