As jealousy crept over me i thought; he's not wearing shorts because he probably skips leg day. ...Then the man does a shrimp squat to a one legged backflip!!
That is the most awe inspiring display of physical human potential I've ever seen. Simonster has the full works - mobility, balance, strength, power, coordination
Chokwe I could trust you if you give me some references, but I am quite sure that most the extreme exercises you see in the video are an insult to the bio-mechanic of your joints
there is no point discussing this further unless one of us will bring "scientific" references. I could take my experience as I said (training 6-7 years with body weight , including leverages on shoulders). Despite my exercises were quite basic and despite warming up and stretching out...I had problem at my shoulder for two times. I cannot exclude that being 32 could be the reason..... but still, I want to discourage people that are either inspired or that are trying to reach the routine level in this video since you can be healthy and build good looking body without taking risks and spending less time for your workout. Then, of course, if you want to show off in public park and (try to) impress girls (or man.. if you prefer)....it is a different matter.... .
1:38 clean triple clap pushups , 2:02 one arm clap hops , 4:13 full planche clap pushups , and let's not forget that thing at 5:10 are some of the moves i thought were impossible before this video
ahmed hmair i searched all over the internet for similar plyometric power and relative strength and found nothing compared to this video , thanks Simon for raising the bar , this should keep me busy for the next decade or so
ahmed hmair You will never reach this level you tit. However theres a man even more impressive than this and makes this guy look like a phony. His name is Frank Medrano.
kingdaleclarke you're either being sarcastic or trolling , because i didn't say i will reach his level i said i would try , and second i like Frank but Frank can't even do a full planche let alone clap behind the back explosive pushups , the only way Frank Medrano could be superior is his pulling strength
I've started working out because of this video. It's so great coming back here after a year and beeing able to do a straddle planche even if I can do that only for a few seconds. Back when I started I couldn't do even one pushup, thank you Simonster you're my inspiration
Update after a few more years into training: full planche achieved (consistently holding it for more than 10s )and just achieved a few seconds of full Maltese on rings! Simonster you're still an inspiration, I owe this to you ;)
@@leonardogarofalo7427 bro I feel confused cause people say they can't do tuck planche for more than a few seconds after training for over a year, but I've been trying it for days (like I practice it one day, then maybe practice two days later, and then practice the next day etc, stretching my practice days to less than ten days) and I can already hold a tuck planche for about three seconds now, mind you after only less than ten days of practice combined. Why do most people mention how difficult it is to learn, cause for me it is difficult but progress seems more than steady to me
well, bodybuilding doesnt really take *skill*, you just go to the gym and do it. every knows how to pick up some weight and lift it, its a basic human instict to lift objects...
with bodybuilding u mainly use machines and weights. You only need to move your selected muscles from point A to point B with the weight applied. Simply repeat, rest and repeat. now what you just saw is something that your body needs to get used to and takes WAY longer. It's very hard to move it to the next level if you use your own body weight cause your weight doesn't change alot in a short period of time. also this doesn't only take strenght, dedication and precision, also you actually need to balance your whole body to just do a planche pushup for example.
I've hit full planches and one arm holds in America and all I hear is how nobody here knows this and I'm wasting effort. In the end if I forge a future in calisthenics or not here, I can assure you it's been satisfying impressing the youngsters. All I hope is all this inspiration builds hope in the future generations. Thanks Simon, I'm very proud of your accomplishments and honored to mimic you.
+tedy l'ourson that's what i don't understand the fucking teenagers. they waste their time watching shit on youtube like Lady Gaga Rihanna Miley Justin Bieber or something else but can't watch this type of unbelievable art... Poor time that's sad
It's really beautiful to see someone with this much control over their body. Many many many hours of practice go into this. Also confirmed breakdancing, which I suspected from the hollow back handstand tutorial. (:
I stumbled upon your channel as I'm waiting for the closing ceremony for #RioOlympics2016 and could not keep my eyes off your routine. You are #Amazing.and deserve a #Gold medal!!! Can't wait to see more!!!
Purely amazing man. Keep it up! Just when I thought that I am finally getting strong and able to do some good street workout moves, I see this and am like - I am weak as hell... :
As much as i love weight training and have done since i was 17 now 48 and just started getting in to calisthenics, i wish id started this body weight training in my 20s! Fantastically challenging and so addictive! Simonster...a true dedicated master of this sport.
Pllleeeaaassssseeeeee your exact trainingschedule for the handstand and for the planche with everything you did! You are the Most amazing guy on this planet! And i know you are so awesome that you will write me a Messege with your trainingschedule:-)))) MAD Respect bro!!! Totaly fantastic
I stand at the feet of the Master enlightened and in awe... I have never seen anyone perform a kip-up into what was basically a front-flip, nor a one-leg backtwist full. Just...Whoa... Well I know what I'm striving for over the coming years.
I don't even know where to begin, whatever I'm trying to think of to say just seems so inadequate to express what i think about what i just saw. you are amazing to say the least and every time I'm picking my jaw up off the keyboard i then have to pick it back up again, how is it even possible you would think to do these moves. I'm going to train to do at least one of your sick moves. i have total respect and admiration for you and would love to train with you some day and i will. never stop what you're doing bro. peace bro
I've met this guy in real life, he's extremely humble, down to earth and impossible not to like. He's one of the best b-boy Power Movers I've ever seen! RESPECT!
Absolutely ridiculous, a beast to say the least! I started my calisthenics journey half a year ago, this strength level is what i aspire to, and i hope to reach it eventually. Keep up the incredible work! #Mindblown
...wow... Please excuse me. I have to go find my jaw; it dropped off a few seconds into the video and I sort of forgot about it. Impressive doesn’t even begin to describe that display, man. Mad props to you! Well done! Thank you for posting!
To the 106 people who disliked this video? Why are you the way that you are? Seriously, what about this could you possibly dislike? I've had some interest in circus, calisthenics, and/or gymnastics since I was a kid, and this is the most impressive display I have ever seen. I can't believe I skipped the workshop when this guy was at my local gym last year.
Im getting goosebumps throughout the whole video, almost tearing up at the end. This is a human that has peak dedication passion willpower and sheer fucking will. Absolute peak control over his body. Biggest inspiration.
