I use coconut jelly to replace buko whenever I make buko salad. There are some asian stores selling coconut from Thailand but I don’t like those bec aside from being expensive it does not taste as good as those in Ph. Try the coconut/buko jelly. Main ingredients are coconut cream and plain jelly. I can’t remember the rest of the ingredients though. Sorry 😁. Take care Joy.

It's pretty funny how most are convinced there's coconut. Wonder if any of them like cheesecakes. Surprisingly, not everyone likes it either, perhaps because they don't like it too sweet or have creamy food. However, I think they got to try different cheesecakes as there are those that are made lighter and less sweet types with fruits instead of chocolate or biscuits only. Anyway, your yema cake looks really nice po. Presuming my friend who was surprised herself that she enjoyed the soft, buttery and cheesy ensaymada is more likely to eat this too. It's true what Lydell said about cakes.
