Spawn rate issues! Listen if you have spawning issues you probably have a hut in water. Fill in all the water of the chunk the spawn spot is in. Trust me! Please up vote this! Took me forever to figure this out!

I like how you’re remaking old farms that still work, but make them better - I have the old witch farm you made in one of my worlds, but this one is more intuitive because you don’t have to open up the trident killer to collect all the XP. Great channel, would recommend to anyone looking to make MC Bedrock farms.

You can also add magma blocks in any location they walk over and they'll make fire resist potions as well as health potions. Just make sure they don't die from drop damage.

Pro tip: Witches spawn in the same spot in all huts: 2 blocks in, 1 block right.

Perfect but i recommend making the chest be linked to the hopper from its side so that you can have more chests in less of an area

What is the reason to have it so high in the sky? Is it to limit mob spawning in general or to avoid witches from spawning above the determined block?

Could u maybe try to make a chunk loader, I think it could really help with some worlds and I think bedrock really needs a proper design rather than a data pack

Me being early AND just started a realm a week ago with my family 😁 (they aren’t good at MC but I am very good, they’re gonna be impressed)

I was wondering, what does the farm do at the moment that you have the killer turned off and are busy with other things in your world? Will it continue witches pushing up, which will lead into many witches in the kill chamber? And could that possibly break it?

Attention everyone! If ur on snapshot 1.20.32 - the most recent hot fix for October 2023 - this farm STILL works, the problem many players will probably have - and that I had, if you have the farm finished but no witches are spawning, it’s because all the way down into the spawn room, there’s supposed to be a solid block, 1 block apart, under the glass block. This should resume the spawn rates as it was, presumably when you followed suit in stepping thirty blocks away from the spawn chamber to ensure witches were spawning then as the video instructed.

Just built this and works great, add magma blocks to the kill chamber floor for fire resistance potions and possibly water 2 blocks tall for water breathing potions? I don’t know how to make them drop swiftness potions tho

For those having witches stuck ln the water column, try to make the water column hole 2 blocks wide but remaining the only bubble tower

1.20.1 Witches don't compare. What can contribute to this?

then add the auto sorter on it. Start with spider eyes, glowstone dust, etc. That way the last chest will just have the health potions.

With the update to Bedrock 1.20.81, you have to make a slight modification. The update changed the way hoppers function and they no longer grab items from solid blocks above them. Workaround for this farm is to replace the floor of the trident killer with 4 hoppers. 1 pointing down (into either the minecart with hopper or just directly into another hopper or chest) and the others pointing into the one pointing down

works great built this as no creeper farms i try work, dunno why but some zombies are getting in any ideas? its not a major issue!

witches do not seem to spawn very fast in mine there is no light in the chamber the more classic design seems to work better than pushing witches up to trident killer sometimes i wait for 3 or 4 min between witches any idea whats wrong?

I don't know why - I followed the specs exactly, but I have zombies spawning instead of witches sometimes. It's killing my rates, which are already pretty darn slow.
