Hi, is it possible in Turbo C ++ 3.1 or 3.2 to program also under DOS and I mean to include in your programs the #include library? Or just under WIN? It is also possible to install it on computers with Win system from version 7 to version 10 or in the latter case is it necessary to have installed a virtual machine such as VirtualBox?
Why are you teaching people a HEAVILY non-standard and outdated version C++? Turbo C++ is NOT standard C++. It's been dead since the mid 1990s. If you want to write C++ programs on Windows or Linux, grab a copy of Code::Blocks and use the gcc compiler collection. It's absolutely free. The latest version of C++ is C++17. That is what you need to know for a job. Borland's Turbo C++ will NOT even compile it.
@apollw Well the worst part is that somebody following these will claim proficiency in C/C++ on a resume' then struggle writing modern C/C++. If they're hired in industry (and it DOES happen) the code quality will suffer greatly as they scramble to learn 30 years worth of language changes and settle for just pasting in untested code from Stack Overflow. And this kind of stuff handles your banking, insurance, or other business critical systems.
