First one to comment i guess..i will take this opportunity to thank you buddy for the great job, i have a school project with ionic2 and you're really helping out.Cheers
Good video. Wasn't too familiar with the ViewChild and Renderer stuff before. But what I'm more interested in is entrance animations when page loads. Android still seems to be janky.
Thank you Josh, for this great tutorial. I have a doubt. Have you ever seen a way to trigger one variable in a component created for me? Because when I construct my component, I have a variable @Input() type, and this variable start undefinied, and when It change the value I need add another boolean variable to every object on the array of the @Input() variable.
Is this preferred over just writing a class that contains the transition, then conditionally applying it? Shouldn't we keep styles out of the js as much as possible?
I am making an hybrid news app similar to InShorts in ionic framework, I need same animation like that of InShorts app (full page moving to top on swipe event), I am newbie to ionic please help me how to achieve that.

is !important really the way to go about doing this in Ionic? I have this idea that !important is like a eval statement.
