Thank you so much! Soldering manufactured pin backs is so stressful. This is easy and matches my jewelry design style. Great video. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
That's nice and straightforward, my enamels have arrived so having fun playing..again...and this catch will finish my piece which started out as a pendant but will end up a brooch. As a south paw I struggled with brooches, now I know why...thank you for the explanation..🌺🌼🌹😎
Thks for sharing! You explained step by step so you have given me confidence to have a go with my soldering kit, etc, etc, as I have been turning pendants into brooches & using cheap & nasty brooch pins.
Thank you. .. I just folow your video l make perfekt broch pin... The first one l made with my profesor in school this is my second thanks to you ❤️ And I already sold it.
Hi, I have seen this with some variation. After cutting the length of wire, hold both ends in parallel pliers and twist to begin work hardening it. Cut off 10mm for the hook side. The hinge side should have one-and-a-half turns made at one end with the tip of round nose pliers forming a spring. Leave a tail of 5mm where it is soldered to the brooch. The rest is as you have demonstrated. Why pay for a finding if you can make it yourself? J
Soham, why do you have a bike in your studio? I have a bike in mine but only because my 'studio is a section of my partner's shed and the bike is my 250r Ninja. Who's just had a new wheel put on her rim today as there was a tack in it. I honestly didn't even notice there was a bike in your studio until my partner pointed it out to me. I was too engrossed in your tutorial to even notice! And from your previous tutorials I thought that was a wall where the bike is sitting now! Thanks for being my virtual teacher for these past few months. Don't stop doing what you're doing because you are definately more informative than the rest! I have made some random things using copper. I haven't touched my 925 because copper is obviously a lot cheaper. I really want to get into the old style rings and bracelets. With filigree and marcasite like grandmothers would wear for a better description . Although I haven't been alble to find any RU-vid video on how to make this style ring or bracelet it may take a few years anyway. Thank you Soham for still making videos. Don't stop because you make it look so simple and make it very interesting to want to learn.
soham harrison Very nice! Just watched your newest floating disk ring. Saw the cat and the bike . Very nice bike. My partner bought me a tractor so now we have 2 cars, 3 bikes (another soon) and a tractor! More projects!
