I used to get my Candles at candle stores such as Wicks and Sticks and a local Pagan/Wiccan supply shop. Because of the materials they were made out of. But they kept going up on their prices. So at the time I was working at Kmart and started using our Candles and Oils. But as with time we lost our store. So I started buying Candles, Holders and Oils at Family and General Dollar. They are almost as expensive as Wicks and Sticks became. SO Now I shop at Dollar Tree, not only do they have the mentioned supplies at the top of the page but they have Candlesticks and Holders, Lighters and Fairy Lights. Loved Your Video! 😊😊😊
I used to LOVE Wicks and Sticks, but the one in my area closed!! I'd always create such fun scented wax combinations for my wax burners. I agree with you, so many places are getting expensive! Ooo I didn't think of candle holders, lighters, and fairy lights!! Great suggestions! Thank you so much for your kind words, I hope you have a lovely day! :)
Thank you for this great video. As a broom closet dweller I need your kind of confidence and inspiration to give me the courage to step out into the moonlight! LOL! Keep up your fabulous work! Dxxx
Disposal....been awhile since I've practiced I set intentions all the time but wouldn't hurt to get back just trying to remember candle wirk and disposal? After the ritual is complete I used to follow the work of draja mickaharic and thinking i should pick up his work again, so strict in some areas. Whereas i love your full moon ritual so ceremonious and beautiful and as a woman drawn to the moons pull your peculiar blog always fills me with joy and that usually im following my right path ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful knowledge and awwww have fun traveling...did I sense a little .... trepidation? Its all going to work out as planned. Keep it and yourself being the beautiful soul you are!
I've never heard of Draja Mickaharic, sounds interest, I'll need to read some of his work! I absolutely makes my day to know you find my moon rituals helpful! The moon is a big part of my practice as well. Haha you did sense some trepidation. I'm normally someone who likes structure in my life, so it's a bit outside my comfort zone. LOL I'm trying to go with the flow tho! Thank you for your kind words beautiful, have a lovely day!
Thanks, looking forward to this series. I really like the basic tip of the skillet, but quick question: if you were to add herbs to it, would you add oil to avoid burning? Or does the candle wax take care of that? Thanks!
Hello Shawn! Great question! I normally only use a small amount of oil on the candle itself when I anoint it. I like the cast iron because when the candle burns down, it lights and burns the herbs (and my petition paper) sprinkled on the bottom as well. There's rarely much more than wax and ash left, and the skillet keeps everything fire-safe. I hope that helps! :)
