Beautiful nails!!!! You are very skilled and talented. I really enjoy your videos! When you said she never gets hangs nails I was like I wish I never get hang nails. 😭 No matter how much care I put into may hands and nails I still get hang nails. I get them naturally even if my nails and skin is healthy so I have to be careful. Plus the soap at my work doesn't help one but but we have to use it. 😑 Anyways I love your videos!!

i only go when there's lifting on multiple nails. sometimes that's 5 or even 6 weeks for me. however i've started doing my own because nail salons were closed and mine start lifting after jusr a few days, so i do them ever 2 weeks approximatly

That's lovely! What type of top coat would you recommend for powder? I tried a non wipe soak off one but it still dulled it

You need a no-wipe HARD (not soak off) topcoat. Also, make sure that you are using the right kind of top coat for the right kind of powder. For example, neon pigments need to go over something sticky but chrome needs to go over something shiny

The drills look dangerous but so satisfying to watch 😅. Why do some type of nails (not sure what they are called... extension?) have a bulge when looking sideways as if there's a thick layer on top of thr nail bed? I think it looks ugly, can't be done thinner?

That's called the apex is the lump your seeing in the middle of nail. The longer the nail extension the higher the apex. It basically prevents the nail from snapping in half at edge of the natural nail when a person creates a long extension. The apex can be lower aka flatter, if the nail or nail extension are at a shorter length. Also, certain nail shapes, such as a edgelleto ( edge stiletto aka a very sharp stiletto) need a specific type of apex. Apexs will look very odd as nail grow out because apexs are supposed to be at the back 3rd of the nail (closer) to the cuticle.

@@thatsoserious thanks for the clarification! It makes sense. I guess as technologies evolve materials will be available that need less thick apex. I know nothing of salon manicures, and personally prefer more discreet natural look, but I admire the dexterity and creativity of nail techs 😊

@@daniela9488 No problem. I am DIYer and I learned(still learning) terms and application process to get better. Also, regard apex’s can appear misshapen or overly large, if the nail techs application process for extension is done wrong.

Am I the only one who gets confused when Tatyana says "correction" instead of "refill" or "rebalance"? Bc the first videos I saw by her were about actually correcting other artists' works which were too thick or just lousily worked. I think there's a difference between that and putting on new product on a client who's nails have grown out for a few weeks and need a retouch before they break or cause other damage....
