Follow this step by step tutorial for crocheting a simple doll base the size of your hand. This doll base is great for playing dress up and for making your own doll clothes!
Materials:
- 1 skein of any skin tone yarn, sport weight
- 3.25mm crochet hook
- stitch marker
- fiberfill stuffing
- safety eyes
- tapestry needle
- scissors
Final size: 6” x 2”

@@architadedhia8930 it went lol. One leg was a little longer than the other 😅 but I’ve been practicing and i made a really good doll for my sister (Taylor swift, she’s obsessed). I’ve started to understand it so well that I actually managed to write my own little bootie pattern, and replicate it! I was shocked. It did take me two whole days to figure out the boots though lol Not going to lie, I feel pretty chuffed.

I was really excited about crocheting a doll, but I couldn't even do the first step. I tried many times and wasn't even close to doing it, so I think I'll just quit since I clearly don't have a crocheting talent.😭😢

@@conchimnhonho3318 for the pants i did it kind of the same way as you do the legs: so i just made to "tunnels" (until they had the right length) and then connected them the same as you connect the legs in this video and just added as many rows as i thought will be fitting. for the top i did i kinda improvised in EVERYTHING so i wouldnt recommend it to you but if you search "crochet doll top" there are a few good tutorials for good tops, sweaters and vests

It's ok, instead of doing a magic circle, you can chain 3 then slip stitch into the very first chain. After that you basically made your magic circle and can just work in the middle of the 3 chains. I used to do that before I learned magic circles

I think you should learn a few techniques before trying this out, or learn how to make a few shapes like a star, but once you learn the basics this is somewhere good to begin your crochet journey with!
