I’m going to get out my fall decorations I’ve got stored today. My daughter made me crocheted pumpkins in 3 different colors like sage, light tan and light brown. They’re adorable. I have a blown glass pumpkin I use in my entryway with the cut crystal lamp. Then I arrange lots of pumpkins on a large antique black tray with wheat bundle, my Amish buggy and the antique people. I recently purchased a slate from a one room school house so I’ll put it there, too. These things mean so much to my family from trips we’ve taken to the Amish settlement. We even took a buggy ride through the town and I drove. Memories! I have a beautiful old steamer trunk in my living room that is full of my special items. I’ll be opening it to look for things to display. I don’t go to thrift stores but I do go to estate sales and antique shops. My daughter and family are moving to a new house on Friday. They’ve had contractors there for months redoing the bathrooms, painting I and out and hanging new fixtures. I’ll be gifting some of my things to her. I’d rather see her use them now. I’m 70 in 2 days so I’ve already enjoyed my things for many years. Mary, I love watching your channel. You do so many amazing things. Things I would be doing if I didn’t get sick 10 years ago. Everything looks great! In our roadside market that we used to run we took plywood and ripped it in 9 inch wide by the length of the plywood 8 feet to use as flooring. We then stained it a dark color. I, too, wished we could have done this in our house. Blessings to you and your family.❤
