This is a simple fixer upper style makeover to a builder's grade chandelier that you will find in many homes, using only a can of spray paint.
Supplies used
1. Rustoleum Universal Paint + Primer Metallic Spray Paint (Oil Rubbed Bronze)
2. Ladder
3. Newspaper
4. Screwdriver (Phillips Head)
5. Dust Mask/Respirator
Don't forget to shake your spray paint can!

Rustoleum's Smoke Glaze would be a great choice to give you that opaque look you're shooting for.

Hi Megan! I have this same exact chandelier but in brassy gold. I have 1 1/2 cans of Rustoleum in hammered bronze left over from a lamp project but wasn't sure I could envision the results. Thanks for the very clear instructions too! Jo

Once you took down the chandelier to paint. Can I paint the chain and wires?

Jen MV I love this question! I don’t know if you’re supposed to paint the wires as they’re electrical. I painted mine though! And the chain! I can’t give electrical advice but I would say if you decide to, just make sure they’re 100% dry before you hang them back up and turn the electricity back on. Good luck!
