It's obviously not free energy, but it is a great idea for storing energy, for example from solar production surplus. The excess of solar energy produced during peak hours could be used to roll a spring mechanism that would later be used to feed a generator and thus producing electricity from the stored kinetic energy.

@@myguitardidyermom212 When you say it like that, "storing energy", it takes all of the fun of this process of trial and error. Somebody told you energy is stored in a spring, and that it isn't efficient. Whoever told you that has obviously never seen what a 2-ton flat-wound spring can do. I wind up our generator once a week, and it powers three houses full of lights, electronics and appliances. And once a week isn't even one quarter of the tension the spring is intended for. I wind up my car and it can go hours on the freeway. I've had this stuff for years and never once had a problem.
I have an idea! How about we take this concept to the next level and invent a massive generator that has a MASSIVE spring inside it to power your WHOLE HOUSE at night, so you won't need to pay your bills that often. And when day time comes, it will AUTOMATICALLY Switch to the solar panels and rewind the electricity spring, using an electric motor powered by the solar panels and/or a backup battery. The spring will be designed to provide you with electricity for a whole night, or longer! And it's FULLY AUTOMATIC! You can set up a timer to automatically turn on/off the spring generator or rewind. And when switching from spring to solar panels, it will seamlessly do it by using battery power in between.

Take a solar panel and motor, to wind it up in the day and release the energy at night. Make a series of these mechanisms as large as possible. I was looking for a spring motor to see if it was possible. Looks like it is.
@@timemachine5538 Yes to the solar panel idea. Flywheel would act as a mechanical capacitor. I'd like to see two ammeter shunts used ($10 ish) , one inline with the solar, one inline with the load, (a battery charging or an LED light of suitable wattage) - see if any extra energy is generated by the springs.

I have watched a video of a GE fan from more than 100 years ago...It was hand cranked fan...witch provided 45min of work. It was table size fan. Im looking for similar mechanisam to be implemented on a bicycle. To give a bike assistence for 10km with one full charge.

For spring assistent for a bike...I think that the guys that produce and sell springs can calculate how much force and power spring of some size have and than we can see how much watts can transfer to the bike ride. If is possible to make spring mechanisam that can give additional 50w of energy for 15min ride and it only takes 1min to cranked it...and it is not to bulky, that would be a good deal. What I was thinking except for the springs to somehow wind each other then using the gears it can only go slow which should prevent the energy from being lost

🤔If we use these Elastic spring on a large scale and put them inside the 🚗car and also put a ⚡electric motor with it . you all know Tesla company car has to be charged for charging in the same way if we give this motor a little electricity and if this motor tightens the spring and it can drive us for 2 or 4 hours, it is very beneficial for us, it will not spread smoke in the air, it will not pollute the environment. It will happen and we will also get energy 😎
What is efficiency ?? If we attached synchronise motor with it so how much electricity production? If we make a big model which store 3600000000 joules then how much bigger and strong model required ?
