Please keep making more videos of these korean dishes! This is way easier than reading a recipe in korean and it reminds me of the way my grandma used to cook for me
@@bkim10 Thank you so much for your lovely comment! It truly means a lot to me. I’m still new to RU-vid and learning as I go. I started making these videos for my daughter so she can easily follow her mother’s recipes in the future. Now, knowing that you enjoy them too makes it even more special! I’ll continue sharing more recipes here, and I really appreciate your support. Thank you again!
Thank you for your question! Dried anchovies are essential to achieve the desired flavour profile for this recipe. Regarding soy sauce, using regular soy sauce is perfectly fine. However, remember that regular soy sauce tends to be less salty than soy sauce for soup, which I use in the video and will result in a darker soup colour if you increase the quantity of regular soy sauce. Soy sauce for soup, on the other hand, is saltier and keeps the soup colour lighter. If you’re using regular soy sauce, I suggest adding about 2 teaspoons and then adjusting the salt to taste to maintain the right balance. I hope this helps. Happy cooking!
