New subscriber here. I'm a newbie in this macrame business and i am determined to start and keep this as a hobby esp during this lockdown. Since I'm a beginner I've been reading online articles and watching endless videos about making macrame bracelets, but the thing is I don't know on which cord should I start with. Is it 0.8 mm ones or the 1.0 mm? I hope anyone can give me their idea about this.

You video was clear and simple , extremely helpful. It look so easy when you use the lighter to burn off the ends. When I did it with my bracelet, the end knots unraveled. Do you have any suggestions to prevent this I am using satin rat tail cording I am so disappointed with my results and hope you can help To restate: my problem is trimming and burning off the ends to keep the knots secure Thanks in advance Carol

It would help if you told me how many sq. knots, and how long cords should be. then people would not have to do this over and over until the know.

This is the best tutorial I've seen about sliding knots so far... the other ones look messy and complicated

Very nice design, but won't those beads slip off kind of easily? Kids can be rough. What about using hot glue on the ends to seal it?
