I don’t think there is anything else I can say that the others haven’t already. My brother passed in a motorcycle accident year and a half ago. This was one of his favorite songs. As I was listening to this, all I could think about was how much he would have absolutely loved this cover. He was a huge music lover and also loved to sing. I was thinking about how (before) had he heard this before me, I would have gotten a call or text immediately from him insisting that I listened. I apologize for the ramble. This is now on my playlist ready to go. Forever, THANK YOU 💙

This was one of my Daddy's favorite songs. He requested that we play it at his funeral, we did. He shared a story with me about his Mamie and told me how this song reminded him of her. He was a simple man himself & he had an amazing heart. I wish I could play your cover for him cause I know without a doubt he would love it. Mr. Dempsey I wish you all the best in your music career. Listened to a lot of versions of this over the years, it's one of my favourite songs. This is my favourite version and in my opinion sung exactly the way it should be - just one acoustic guitar and vocal track. Simple.

This was my moms favorite song. She jumped off a bridge in 2017. I plan on putting my heart and soul into doing a cover of it in memory of her as soon as I feel I can do it justice.

You don't even have to meet this man to determine what a beautiful soul he is. As his music, his songs, live interviews say it all. I first discovered him as I heard him play..... Just beat you there! Wow, that song is so truly powerful, from his vocals , to the heart and soul, he puts into this. He leaves us with an amazing reminder that our loved ones that have crossed over are in a better place? His song just beat you. There has lifted me up on many occasions as I lost my father last April and always makes me feel better listening to it. So I thank him 100 times over for bringing this song to life and reminding us that our loved ones that have crossed over are really okay. 🙏🌹🕊️❤️🙏

Love this song it was played at a double funeral of a Friend and his brother playing chicken I a road to there house in the winter they hit ice and crashed one died instantly and the other was found crawling to his brothers car so sad I had never been to a funeral like that we never know what each day will bring us one day to another 🙏🤧mmmmmmmm
