Hi Natasha! I meant to add this question to my comment. I live using Ranger inks, as much as you. But. I never though of adding them as the major coloring scheme. Do they remain dry? The new Oxides? Or do you put a fixative on them. I never see you do that on the videos. Thank you and great work!**
I really enjoy your CAS cards as I struggle with this type of card! I usually fill the whole front of the card! But I do love the ones you make! And have tried some but end up with more than I intended!
Great card Natasha. Great helper too! Cute little voice! Super colours and technique. Your fussy cutting is so good! I always cut off a petal or an arm or something! Thank you. Hope you and the family are well. Take care. Love Deb x
You make this card look so easy but fussy cutting the flowers is not a quick process, so your simple card is actually quite a bit of work but really lovely. Where do you get the good masking tape? You use it a lot so hopefully I can order it.☺️
OMG gorgeous!! Have you ever used the post it 3M brand. It's a bit cheaper and I tend to put them back on a sheet so that I can use them again. So simple but GORGEOUS!! Thanks for sharing !!
Hmmm I do think it's got a lot to do with the ink. I love the versafine onyx black ink, it stamps beautifully. Having said that, with the silicone stamps, you have to be careful not to push too hard or you'll squish the silicone, and you're more likely to get a blurry image, particularly with a sentiment. Sorry, i'm not much help!
Such an old video so not sure if you will see this. When I tried this technique using the same inks, when blending on top of the masks, the ink picked up the black ink and made my rainbow colors muddy. The only thing different I used was the Gina K masking magic. Do you think that was the problem since there is a coating on it and the ink wouldn't dry properly? After my first disaster, I tried embossing the mask and that still didn't work.
Hi Natasha! Love this card. I have a question about the process. Wouldn't it be easier to sponge all the color on, and then stamp the flowers. It would eliminate the masking time. No?
That would look cool, however I wanted the inside of the flowers and leaves to stay white, so they stand out from the colour, so in order to keep the insides of the flowers white, I masked them. Sponging colour on first would mean the flowers were coloured on the insides too 😊
Love, love your card again, soooo beautiful. But really dislike like the AliExpress wide foam tape. It's good for the way you use it, but that's it. Cannot cut it, as it sticks, sticks and sticks to your sissors, so hard to cut ...
Hi Natasha, beautiful card. What it the masking sheet called? I can't seem to find it. Thank you. Keep them coming. Regards, Ann. Greetings from the UK.
I'm the same, but find that many of the same designs (stencils for example) are also on ebay for similar prices. After some time looking around though, I did come across a few Aliexpress sellers that seem to accept paypal. You do need to be patient when looking though.
