We always did watch this program on saturday before going out. The clothing of the groups who were performing were always beautiful and always did inspire us. Like now seeing this short white jacket, the same I did buy. Wow what a time being young, beautiful and popular by all the ladies when entering a dancing. Look at me now my long black hair is gone or being grey and I have to use glasses. Man if I could go back, the happiest period of my life.
They came a long way since I first saw and heard them in Glasgow in their first guise Johnny and the self abusers then the following year 78 saw and heard them Glasgow Mars bar twice and was blown away I havnt listened seriously since catwalk The became to predictable and clean I adore all the albums up to Sparkle Thr diversity from Life in a day to New Gold dream is development but then treaded water in my opinion But some of the best and original bands from thay era ❤
Pretty much the same mate. Saw them in Edinburgh 79. But a lot of times in Australia .. Sparkle was the last. Seen them a few times recently. They are no bad still.. They miss Derek Forbes and Mick McNeill
Yes this is mimed to the album track but who cares. One can tell the drums are often supplied fir the TV appearance ar this time in their career Mel still had a Premier Black Shadow drum endorsement!
He said ‘Another track which we are not playing today called speed your love to me’. You must have thought he said now instead of not, Jim didn’t make a mistake you did. He was saying that the videos for Waterfront and speed your love to me were both coming out in January as a response to the question asked.
@@FoobsTon Well, in my o level French class (1982), my teacher told me my vocabulary was really good, but I should try it without the Glasgow accent... :-)
