Last time Sarah Brown played in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA I got the pleasure to meet her before Simple Minds did there sound check; and the only words I could get out of my mouth where "wow, wow ...., your beautiful ...... did it hurt when you fell from heaven?". She is such an incredible vocal talent, and equally a really sweet person. Wish I could have recorded her reaction. I can never get enough of her stunning voice.
I've loved Sarah's vocals on this track since I first heard it on City of Angels. My only request is that she does that second verse. I've always had a particular liking of the second verse. "I thank you for the shadows, It takes two or three to make company, I thank you for the lightning that shoots up, And sparkles in the rain. I was there... What a great show. And what can I say about this song and Sarah Brown, just too many talent in a woman, and as much as I love Jim, this song it's Sarah's. I prefer when she sings it just her

Horrible! This is definitely NOT the Simple Minds!!! After 1986 they were never the same!!!! Anyone whom did see them prior will definitely understand my position on this.
