So good to see and hear Simple Minds paying homage to Michael Been and The Call, saw both bands together back in the day. Last concert this writer attended before C19 shutdowns Simple Minds performed a 3-hour show, Oct 25, 2018 at San Francisco, California's Masonic Auditorium and absolutely blew the roof off the place! Thank you for posting this, Susie Davidson Massachusetts!!
I am very sorry that I could only get a few songs... such is the problem with time slots close together for several favorite bands and running between stages the whole time!
Hey no worries..good bands overlap and running stage to stage 🤣. Thanks for sharing once again. Looks like a freakin wicked time 💗🙌‼️. So glad everyone had a blast
Best band I saw all day! I saw: Simple Minds, some of Adam Ant (he overlapped with SM), Stranglers (amazing, but it was so hot), Ministry, Soft Cell (2nd best), Blondie (awesome!), Duran Duran & a bit of Tones On Tail. Thanks for the footage!
I was there too. Please please come back in 2025.. I will there too Susie!!! Off to see Bow Bow wow and Gene Loves Jezabel at house of blues friday night.. I Ain't making it to work tomorrow night.. buahaaaaaaa hahaha .
@@slh2346 'The Walls Came Down' written by Michael Been of the Santa Cruz, California band, The Call, from the album, "Modern Romans" 1983. This writer was a big fan of The Call and Simple Minds, and was ecstatic when they toured together in 1986 and went to see them at UC Berkeley's Greek Theater April 1986. In fact, Michael Been joined Jim Kerr onstage for a Simple Mind's encore and sang backup on 'Sanctify Yourself', truly an incredible show.
