Met Charlie when I worked at Heathrow in 97 or 98 and he was such a humble guy. Stood for ages chatting with me and my Glaswegian pal and when passengers came up to our desk he just stood back and waited and came back and chatted when they left. Think after that I was floating on air for about 6 days. Top man in every sense !

Charlie B one of my all time favorite guitar players. Few if any other guitar hero of mine can move be emotionally like he can. His special guitar playing and signature sounds are wholly unique and instantly recognizable as HIS.

Love your tour diary so much, Cherie. I've known Simple Minds since New Gold Dream, so this band has been part of nearly my whole life. Thanks to your tour diaries it's like being backstage with all of you.
