I love the simplicity of this build. I've been researching since before Covid and am oversaturated with ideas. Thanks for bringing me back to the simple stuff. And REALLY love those picture frame clips! Genius!
Glad to help... yes, watching too many videos can be overwhelming. It's good to start simple... and it let's you easily achieve the most important thing of all - starting!
This totally reminds me when I lived in my 67 vw bug, pulled the passenger seat, threw down some plywood for my bed, pvc pipe across the ceiling to hang my work clothes.....
Ha! Thanks for that blast from the past. Those were the days! With all the elaborate builds splashed across social media, I reminisce about those old days in my other video titled "Intimidated by Van Life?"
I don't think I could sleep in that van in the humid heat here in central/eastern Texas without more ventilation than you have, but I still love everything about your setup.
Yeah, a van build is never compete! I don't need solar right now because an ice cooler works for me and I have a small power station that is more than enough to handle my other charging requirements. Maybe someday... but at this point I won't do it just to have a fridge.
Thanks! I have to say: I looked at your channel and love your videos... and the amazing thumbnails - can I ask how you create them, specifically that almost painted look they have?
It's a E150 2WD. It's been fine. I've only had occasional issues on steep dirt and deeper sand, but in those cases I press the button to turn off "traction control" and that helps.
The metal floors and a van gets super hot though hi how to start melting and warping your storage totes and whatever's in them do not store food especially canned food in super hot areas like the floor of van
