Hi, I've been following your channel for some time, in one of your replies you mention sealing with a beeswax/white spirit mixture. I've sealed just a few with beeswax, which I found a little time consuming and laborious, although I was quite happy with the result. What kind of proportions do you use for the wax/white spirit mix, and is there any danger of dissolving the paste? If you get the chance to respond, I'd be very grateful, otherwise I'm looking forward (as always) to your next video, Thanks!
Thank you and apologies for not replying sooner! I haven't used this exact thing with endpages - you could probably do something similar, but it may be better to thin the paint in that case.
I forgot to say thank you very much you really shared a technique that use to be only inheritance. I am sure there are lots of people like me and my children who are receiving your skill at no cost or travelling ,
You're welcome, and thanks for your feedback! I didn't seal this one as I found that this acrylic paint gives a fairly "sealed" finished (that may vary with the paint), but I have sealed the marbled paper I have used on covers (using a mixture of beeswax and white spirits, although one can also buy sealants).
