The reason I always enjoy your videos is because you have a good eye for composition. You're used to all that old British architecture but to us yanks we see great photos every time you turn a corner!!! If you offered walking photo tours I bet they'd be VERY popular - Hmmm... Probably make a good side hustle for ya. I'd sure pay good money for that.

The East End is my manor, so to speak... Great choice for urban street photography. Make sure you have a pint/drink in Turner's Old Star at Wapping - cheapest pub in that area and a real character in its own right.👍Plenty of cafes if you're more of a coffee drinker, and E Pellici on Bethnal Green Road is historic.

Oh YEAH! What a lovely town that is! I too could be there ages. Great buildings, good for both B&W and color. Lots of crunchy details, aging facades, bright flowers, lamps, posts, etc. You got a few really good images, especially the kegs with the pub sign. I have a similar approach to such subjects, so your work is really relatable. Love those pubs, all the same and yet different, lending personality to the town. Your suggestion to check out the photography on display in hotels is good. A few years back I went on a cruise and made sure to walk all the halls on all the decks I could, to see the art work. There were different themes and types on the different decks, and some of it was rather blah but was purchased by somebody! So you don't have to make perfect images every time. I've also spent lots of time watching the narrow boating channels, particularly Cruising the Cut. It's all quite interesting. I only spent 10 days in England over a decade ago and I miss it very much.

Cranky Rog, with all that strange goings on, I half expected a giant balloon to appear and start chasing you down the street. Very nice photography too. Yes, you are right. Those photographs on the wall of the hotel are just nice photographs. People would look at them and immediately recongnise or identify with the subject and what the photographer wanted to say. None of that Robert Adams or Raymond Moore photography here, all that photograph behind a photograph or subject within a subject. And that Ferrari Dino. I guess people have a bob or two down there. Thanks again.

Fantastic video, I’m glad it’s not just me that struggles with cabling on old buildings, we were in Norfolk a few weeks ago with some fantastic old buildings, took very little of them though, being over critical of spoilers on them. Maybe we should just shoot what is there, it is what it is. But then if we are not happy with the shot, would they ever get printed. Probably not so what is the point in waisting the film.
@ShootFilmLikeaBoss

I'm sort of struggling with B&W 'local' photo's at the moment. Every time I go into a Greggs (not that I expect to find a Greggs in Henley-on-Yawn) I see these arty local landmarks photo's and its puts me off the whole concept of identifiable stuff from each area. Its sort of become a sub-genre of its own and I get an instinctive gut reaction to avoid it. I also avoid honeypots and anything that has a faint whiff of cliché as well. Am I just becoming a photography snob in my old age ..... ?
